Darrel, I am not much of an expert here but the setup I have gives me very good results and the main thing is that is 100% portable and very quiet. Now, for a compressor is just a matter of how much you want to spend but regardless of the noise, they are all pretty much the same thing. I have a Campbell Hausfeld 02-Gallon (Direct Drive) Air Compressor. wich is very cheap and not too noisy. I am very happy with the performance and portability of both the airbrush and the compressor. I can move anywhere around the house to shoot some paint if the sun is good or just stay inside. I live in Puerto Rico and since there are just a couple of events through the year, I just keep my builds on the road for 12 months. It doesn't matter if they win or not; after that I just put them in a glass display in my living room. :wink: What about you guys?

Ok, I started working with the rear axle and to make it a moving part, the first thing was to cut off the molded trailing arms and scratchbuild new ones with moving joints. Still ruff and need to shave & sand but I am pretty happy with the results. :wink:

Glad you like it :wink: I was working on the hinges last night, but I don't want them to be like a "die cast" hinge type you know... I was thinking on using some small PE hinges from MCG but I am worried about the pivot point and the travel swing of the door insde the front fender. :?: :idea:

All right, :x more than six month without touching a kit is a loooooooooong time, :cry: so I started to work on one of the projects that I had in mind for 2007. This one will be a 1963 Impala lowrider. So far I opened the doors and startded to fit the dashboard, seats, etc. I will work on the door hinges and will try to airbrush some primer on it later this week . :wink:

Thanks Jairus!!! :wink: A couple of weeks after I finished that kit, I was cleaning the room of my 7 year old daughter, and guess what... She had this fancy earring making kit that her mother bought her from a craft store, wich has dozens of them and are smaller than the ones I put on the kit !!!!! I went to the craft store and bough some of them for future projects. :wink:

Hi Bill!!!! Thank's for the kind words my friend, hope everything is going well... I moved from block Z24 to block AA28 in the same neighborhood, that's just one street difference from where I used to live. Still have halve of the things unpacked but some day I'll find a place to put them Man, you never realize how much junk you have untill you have to move. The good thing is that now I own the house. :wink: I am working hard to get my new "Hobby Room" ready, hopefully by the end of January 2007. I am also planning on visiting you guys again at the Mid Atlantic NNL next year so if everithing goes well I'll see you there. :wink: :wink:

Moving is always a nightmare and when you are remodeling... :? well you kow, things always get worse and will take longer than expected. I haven't build anything since June because of that, so I am posting a couple of pics of the last one I finished this year.
