got bored so added more weathering on this one.

finished up today, AMT kit made it as a daily driver

added a few lines. not much left to do now, exhaust, brake light and foot pegs

i used pastels for that effect.

only thing i added was seatbelts, i build them curbside cause i display them with the bodywork on. thats just how i like to. the kit has plenty of detail if you wanted to add it! i dont see anything wrong in this kit! it went together super easy! heres a few pics i took out in the sunlight

box stock Lindberg kit, just added some weathering i made the headlight decals for this also juut need to buy some decal paper so i can print them out since the kit doesnt include any!

didnt feel like doin to much work today, so i picked a small part to work on. the battery, i added PE terminals, just gotta stick the wires in the ends but will do that once everything is in the engine bay.

little sneak peak at the body i had to take a break after doing one side of the window chrome lol... i sanded them with some 120 grit to get a good texture like cast iron, then paint them silver, brushed on some dullcote, then used pastels to get the burnt rusted look

another one i started. body is in the paint shop , its gonna be red with a black vinyl top. heres some work so far went with the base 440 which was the blue/ turquoise color instead of the hugger orange used on the high performance version

finished up tonight, made it a old lumber yard truck

small update today, i modified the license plate for a more realistic look i just cut them with my kinfe lol

stuck the engine in, i need to hook up the rad hoses still i just use some pastels , white, rust and light brown colors.

heres another one im workin on, makin an old lumber yard truck. im going for a period look so the truck would be pretty new still so only normal weathering will be done. heres a couple shots with the body placed on, just wanted to see how shes gonna look! paint is just some cheap enamel right outa the spray can
