  3. I always liked this camaro body style. going for a cool 80's style look with this one. revell kit. seems pretty nice. I glued on the bumpers and re-scribed all the panel lines. they were almost non existent! pre shaded them so they stay dark after painting. also removed those ugly vents
  4. good old fashion brush painting. I used badger air paint though it goes on so smooth ! then just cleared the whole rim chrome and all with krylon.
  5. picked this up at the new drug store down the street here. for only 10 bucks! the kit is not bad but the parts have heavy mold lines and flash. quick mock up, all the engine chrome headlight etc will be re done with alclad. I've already alcladed the handle bars. heres the tin work painted up, candy red
  6. MPC kit. dupli-color forest green, Krylon clear. pretty much done. I want to add exhaust tips but didn't have tubing the right size so I will add those on later. also I want to find better side mirrors than what the kit comes with

  8. chassis painting
  9. interior painted up, i used dark green.
  10. I use normal bleach, chrome is gone in a few mins tops AMT chrome is normally a bit harder to strip than Revell

  12. the dash in this one fits perfect.
  13. engine bay glued together
  14. printed out a license plate, I just stuck scotch tape over the paper to make it glossy. it is tilted to the right, but if I tilt it more it hits the alternator and valve cover.
  15. picked this kit up cause it's a good price. I'm surprised how nice it is with some excellent details. engine painted up, I like to make them look used a bit, so I added some paint chipping and general dust on it. I'll add final weathering when its in the car
  16. thanks dudes! the paint is duplicolor sapphire blue DSGM4740 the backdrop i made also and its always a work in progress, the wall is just concrete board (the kind you use for bathrooms) just used the back side of it with the mesh. the ground is plywood with drywall compound pavement.
  17. yup kit decals for the red line, the color is dupli-color sapphire blue, DSGM4740 yeah rattle can all the way, for the price $4.25 for a large can it does about 3 cars no problem and can go over any kind of base paint. the car is in the finished section now, it was a long weekend project started it thursday night and finished it up monday.
  18. finished this one up. a great kit to stick together
  19. the side markers and "nova" scripts are kit decals. the decals have "427" or "396" for the front markers. the door locks are some PE from an old set I had laying around
  20. windows installed. and body/interior & chassis all stuck together now
  21. got the chrome trim all finished up tonight 3 coats is enough normally. i use krylon crystal clear
