  1. i mixed it in a old model master paint jar. full jar of paint added a heaping end of a Popsicle stick into it. for clear i use diupli-color spray cans.
  2. jumping in on the roadster madness! I wanted some cool 60's style Flake paint job, so I used some pearl ex powder mixed with black craft paint and ended up with this cool paint job, I'll have to get some outside pics because the flakes really sparkle like crazy! paint still needs to be polished out so dont mind and orange peel I left the pics big so you can at least see the flakes in some detail

  6. i got the body painted and decaled, Used the awesome Powerslide sheet!

  8. they built the roll cage into the body Underneath is is basiclly stock

You still need to polish stuff out after to remove as much of the black carbon left from the rust though.

  13. heres the plug wires I'm going with compared to the kit supplied one (in yellow) which seem way huge to me. if they ran 8mm wires on the real car that comes to around .019inches in 1/16
  14. Thanks! I used aluminum house window screen, it looks like rope and you can bend each strand, masking tape on the edges.
  15. hey guys, been working on this one, want to build it up nice as Baker was one of my favorites, i wasn't around to see him in his prime racing days but I loved him on TNN as an announcer! heres some progress, Im just gonna start detailing the engine next, I have most of the suspension and chassis together, just need to add rear shocks and the interior details.

  19. The format is to wide for iPad mini, you need to pinch zoom to reset it every time you visit the main forum page
  20. I used to watch the drag racing all the time back in the day with dad, nowadays I never even know when its on tv. And if it is on its on in the middle of the week and during the day when I'm not home anyway. So pretty rare I even see anything.

  24. hey guys here's one I'm working on I.did some painting today, all the wood is painted no decals. used the paints you see in the picture. also made the bolt heads from popcan aluminum I'm going for a period era look in the end, it will have some light weathering also. your typical station wagon, fishing trips, camping etc. thanks for looking in!
