  1. HUH?? How'd I get dragged into this??
  2. Well, isn't that how it works nowadays?? Look at AMT, they offered up the COT NASCAR kits, and by the time they hit the shelves, they were outdated, too!
  3. Wow, I think this is the first workbench post I've seen from you. It will be so nice to see one of your nice works coming together. By the way, that's looking very nice so far.
  4. Sure Stewart, I'll allow it. Hey, for all we know, it could be the MCM Truckstop's racing team and what the boys in the shop are working on when they ain't working on the big trucks! By the way, sorry it took so long to reply, I've been pulling my hair out trying to get everything reinstalled on my main computer after some jerk hacked one of my email accounts and dummy me accidentally opened the virus that was in it! At least one good thing came out of it, my friend that built it originally upgraded the motherboard and threw in an extra 160 GB hard drive for me! That now gives it 3 hard drives.
  5. GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!
  6. I knew that, I added the disclaimer for the humor impaired among us!
  7. Well excuse me Mark! I didn't know exactly when Ford started using the F-150 designation, that's why I put a question mark behind it, which would make it a question, right? Disclaimer: For those of you without a sense of humor, I'm being funny here with this post.
  8. I'm not sure Casey, I'll have to check the stash to see if I still have it, but I think I have one that I won at a show. If I do, I'll get the pic for you.
  9. I agree with Mike, the HO gauge horns would be the best for the Dixie horn. The trumpets like the pics he posted are much smaller than a real train horn, and the only thing I'd suggest going bigger for is train horns for tractor trailer rigs. Those are REAL train horns and the only horns I'd use a G scale horn for. That reminds me, I need to find a set for my in progress rig! By the way, Chris, I'll look through my train stuff, I might have a set loose that I could at least post a pic of with them under a Charger hood so you can see if they look right.
  10. I just hope they don't prepaint them like they did in the last issues of the Crown Vic not long ago. The Georgia patrol car I have doesn't even have the lightbar painted correctly.
  11. Thanks Rodney, I can already see I'm getting a few of the plain ones JUST for lightbars! My wreckers need them!
  12. I see it this way, especially after reading the article and seeing Ferrari saying "...they hoped the car would perform better than Ford's pick-up truck of the same name.", I'd like to see that F1 car go some of the places I;ve had my F Series truck! Get over it Ferrari, Ford has had that name for their 1/2 ton truck since what, the mid 50s? Ford owns the name, come up with something else Ferrari!
  13. I think it would be interesting! Some say the STIG approves!
  14. The ones I have I got at a Tractor Supply Co. store just down the road from me, and also most of the truck stops I've been in throughout the states usually have them, sometimes boxed and sometimes without a box. I've seen them on ebay before, too, but I don't know how cheap they may be just to steal wheels from.
  15. I'm ready for more global warming!
  16. Until it landed!!!!
  17. The only ones I could think of is either find some from the old AMT 1/32 scale kits or if you find any of the New Ray 1/32 scale trucks like this one cheap. The New Rays do have a decent tread, and the wheels and tires look nice on this old AMT reefer.
  18. I agree!! Nice job Andy.
  19. Any word on what lightbar (or lighbars) are going to be offered?
  20. Would these pics help, Sean? Those are a 5 point cam lock style harness.
  21. You just want to "modify" one like they did on "Top Gear", don't you!?!?!
  22. Well at least all the Steeler fans have their Terrible Towels to cry into! I'm just happy Daytona is two weeks away!!
  23. Sure thing Jeremy, and don't worry about asking questions, we'll all be glad to help. Sorry I missed your post Walther, I've been having techinical difficulties (Read a crashed computer and using just my laptop! ) and I must have missed it until now. You are welcome and when you have an idea what you will build, let me know. I will add both of you to the list.
