  1. AWWW MAN! Why can't I see them!! All I get is this: X Posted Image
  2. I still only see the red x's.
  3. You aren't the only one that's been wondering why seems and mold lines weren't taken care of.
  4. Check your pics, they didn't come up, just red x's!
  5. Here, Steve, this might help. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=34302
  6. Great job on a wonderful car!
  7. I knew you were an artist with plastic, but I now see that you are a true artist. Wonderful work, Bro.
  8. I don't kow if these are close to what you need or not, Gary, but these are in Revell's 99 Silverado.
  9. Nice job, Dan. By the way, since when I clicked on the pic to see it larger and it took me to your Photobucket album, how did you load it from Photobucket? If you copy and paste the IMG code, it will show up in the post like this: I hope you don't mind, I'm just trying to help out.
  10. Charlie, I can't really help on the other questions, but here are a few suggestions for the saddle interior. Depending on how dark it is, you might think of using one of these two. This is Testors Custom Lacquer Interior Tan for the bottle, and this is Testors Model Master Leather. I have also used "Make It Suede" Buckskin textured paint for tan interiors, and it is a little darker than the Testors CL tan, but I don't have a pic of it right now. If you would like to see it, let me know, I'll get a pic for you.
  11. Nice job as usual, Tim. I'm not that sure of your "Clatterpillar", though, but of course that might just be due to the fact I'm a Detroit Diesel fan!
  12. Yeah, it seems like everything I ever want is what he's always sold out of!
  13. Well, it was still easy enough even I could figure it out! It just looked too much like early 70s GM's to me.
  14. Your secret is safe with me!!
  15. YEAH, I finally got one!
  16. I don't really think the question is about the look of the 7.5 Liter in the kit, it's more about making the engine a diesel. In the case of evilone, it sounds like he obviously wants it to be a diesel, and in the case of the model of my 1:1 dually, it has to be a diesel. By the way, Tim, you might be able to settle something I've been wanting to know for a while. How is the fuel mileage in your F350 with the gas engine?
  17. And a 20 year old diesel at that! She lived a hard working life before coming to me, she was an old wrecker before becoming the truck she is now. I will get some pic taken by the end of the weekend and post them not only here but in my 1:1 Truck Reference thread in the Model Trucks section. Here's a link to it, the pics are mostly drivetrain right now because when the F250 was first reissued earlier, there was some builders wanting to do a 4X4 conversion. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=30068
  18. I know exactly what you mean! I have a 1:1 1990 F350 and the old dually kit, and I have the same problem. If you need some reference pics to help out, let me know. That will give me an excuse to take the pics I need! This is what the basic look of the older 7.3 looks like. By the way, don't mind the grease!
  19. Thanks for the info, Roger. I'll have to give it a try.
  20. Not looking bad so far, Jim. I think that and my big Ford's sleeper are in the running for the "Bondo Bucket of the Year" award! I think mine might be in the lead, though, my whole roof is Bondo!
  21. You're welcome, glad to help out.
  22. I think I might finally answer one right!!
  23. How did you get the Alclad to look like that brushing it on?
  24. It's very easy, just go to any post in this thread from "cnaind", that is Alan from Ma's Resin. You will see a link in his signature line that says "Ma's Resin", just click on that and that takes you directly to his fotki photo site and you can see everything he offers there.
  25. Steve, I think you did a fine job replicating a very unusual subject.
