Size 33x15mm when assembled. Consist of resin: barel, top, bracket to cab and etched mesch. Price - 7$ - pair, plus shiping. Unfortunatelly not all holes are etched through. Oh, I know that dump bed! Nice decal. BUT: where are the holes on wheels? I would make thiner brackets on mirrors. And I would fill seams on the bed. -
Thank you, my friends! You absolutelly right, Jim! Never seen them live. Most popular in Moscow are Freightliner Century & Columbia, IH 9700 and Volvo VN.

Happy watching! Before last photo session I repainted the grill Thank you fot interes! Here is the Workbench of this project: Ask questiones if you got.

I guess it's time to finish this On the Workbench tale: Paintig was TS-2828 over white Tamiya primer Interrior sprayed with a mix of Tamiya's ХF-78 и ХF-2but before that preshading was made in deepenings. Wooden inserts on the doors, ceiling and steering wheel - painted in several steps: Modelmaster - Wood - with airbrush, x-26 and XF-10 - by brush and - X-26 from airbrush in the end. The engine was painted with water soluble ScaleColor paint, color - Fucsia. The block head, oil sump, alternator and pulleys – chromed by Alclad. After painting I added resin nuts and bolt heads into under hood compartment, and etched clamps from Czehc Truck Model. Paint was followed by the decals. These are Golden pin stripes and scrols, as well as the name of the transport company on cab doors, purchased earlier on KFS. Further - clear varnish. After drying and polishing, the door and window openings were covered with model Factory Hiro foil. It more adhesive than BMF, but the reflective ability of it – worse The mudguards are made of black matte Oracl. Finally was able to apply here Pin Up silhouettes. Reflective red and white stripes on the trailer are from "Line O Tape". Bought on eBay. The Swan figurine on the hood was bought on Ausie Models in advance, but sorry, where is the Swan!? It's a dove! Its height is 11mm, it is more suited to the scale of 1: 16. I was have to cut the "Swan's" wings and paws. Reduced to 8 mm. I drilled a 0.8 mm hole in the head and removed the excess with a scalpel. The result was a normal curved neck. The wings are used to represent a single one. A furrow was filed down in the center with a needle file. It turned out two wings. As a result, the construction lasted 8 years with breaks. Not changed / not replaced left, about 10% of the original parts. I had the idea to make the mounting clamps on the fuel and water tanks, but in the end I was worn down and let it go. Here is finished model:

Gongratulations, Yury! Outstanding work! I can't understand: what you don't like in this build? The front is beautifull, lower bumper part is good too. So much posts are talk for themselves!

Thank you, Friends! Kind a little "How To": Little triangles to connect crosmembers and subframe By the way, I often used right angles. For example red marked one to cover crossmembers, and green one acts as a guide for side walls When I assembled the frame, I've forgot that dumpers don't have tail crossmember. Insted it has right angle. So I was have to tear off crossmember and cut out a piece of frame. Here are profiles I used for dump hinge And here what it turned out And finally: hydro reservoir and hinge set up for hydraulic ram All I needed: right angle and sheet styrene -

I guess I will make them from scratch. -
Well, let's open new project in new year! I wanted to start it 10 years ago. I recently bought front bumper and 6,6 Duramax engine at Trailertrash Kustoms. Here is the bumper set. It has 2 variants of fog light lenses. With white fog lights Reverse side has some cavities, but nothing, that can't be fixed. Unfortunatelly bumper is too narrow, even for 1/25. It should be 96 mm, but it is only 89 mm. I will build 1/24. Here is the engine set. It has two variant of valve heads and 3 small cilindrical pieces in front. One is alternator (but I can't identify - which) and two others - I don't know. Two part pulley/belt set is tied by masking tape, so you don't mistake they relative position And here are billets for the frame It unused frame from Revell's Peterbilt Can Do wrecker. Now I'm not sure: if I use this frame and cut & fill all the brackets or use stright KFS or brass tube frame...
