I remember building one of these as a kid in the 80s. Testors box and I loved it and played with it. It's long gone now but I do have another one in my stash to build. Yours looks great! -

Jo-Han 68-70 AMX kits AMT

Man. I would love a modern tool kit of the Javelins and AMXs! I have at least one of each of them from Jo-Han. Not all are built yet! Still need to build the 74 and 68 Javelins. -
While I was building my 68 AMX and I have a number of them. I decided to do a video of the differences of the kits. These kits are getting pricey and I wanted share the info. Let me know what you think of a video like this? Here are a few others I built. The 70 below is a resin one from Missing Link but is no longer available.

Yes this car was recently restored to pink. She kept it for 42 years and sold it in 2010. Car was only pink for the first year or so. She had it repainted because of stalkers. It was painted two other times in the years she owned it.

Will take some static photos and post. Taking video is a lot different and the camcorder will change the white balance. It’s a whole new learning curve.

I started doing videos and here is the first build that I have completed this year. I wanted to build a 68 AMX and ran into this car in my searches. So I had to do this one. Let me know what you think of this one.

Have you checked your car lately?

I just order cross drilled brake lines to match my cross drilled rotors! -
You need most of the 70 to do this. The body is different at both bumpers and grills so you will need all the body parts. Even most the emblems are in different spots. Most 69 kits actually have the 70 intior tub. Look for one piece high back bucket seats. The correct 69 interior tub has buckets with a separate headrests. The dash is different and so is the steering wheel. Here are the two I have built. The 70 is a resin kit from Missing Link. It hasn't been available in years.

Very Nice! I haven't even started on mine yet but I did build a resin 68 Chevelle Convertible in Rally Green!
