  1. Speaking of resin and VW parts, did anyone ever offer a proper Baja Bug body or shortened hood and nose with head lights?
  2. Very mice build.
  3. Outstanding! I've had this IMC kit doe quite some time, but haven't gotten around to it yet. I may soon seeing how good it can look!
  4. Very nice indeed!
  5. Simply beautiful. I only know of this car running in IMSA. I don't remember it ever appearing in France.
  6. Love it!
  7. I'm waiting on two of these kits to arrive. Both will receive Scale Auto Slot racing bodies to update to RSR specs. One will be Flying Lizards and the other Falken ALMS GT racers. Looking forward to the builds.
  8. A great kit with minor issues and one big one. The rear window has the fuel filler on the wrong side of the car for Daytona. Kinda hard to fix unless you go through the trouble to close the opening and then section it to vac form. When Revell measured the car, it was at Sebring where the pit is on the other side of the car. Now what would be cool, is if Revell would update the C6R for the current ALMS GT version.....
  9. Saw a rebodied Roush Mustang at the Road America SCCA June sprints this summer. There are a bunch of cool bodies that could be made to drop on the old Revell Roush chassis. Like the Olds Cutlas, Chevy Beretta, and Mercury Cougar. A very useful, if problematic chassis IMHO.
  10. Perhaps the rear fenders could come from the Monogram Miller Motorsports IMSA Mustang GTX. Wing from one of the Revell Corvette ALMS kits. Neat subject.
  11. I has been on the fence about a specific item in his catalog, and decided to take the plunge. I wish that I had not. Seriously though, I had not read anything, nor for that matter looked for any feedback on the company. They had been around for quite some time, and I thought that it was a safe bet. I will certainly not buy from them again. BTW, I am not the one locking this thread.......
  12. Cool. There was a Mustang at this years June Sprints at Road America in the SCCA GT 1 class that is very similar. Good luck with the rest of the build!
  13. A journey that took four months to come to completion ended this past Thursday. On the 22 of April this year, I placed and order, paid in full with Reliable Resins. I understood going in that Don, the owner was reorganizing his company and web site and that the order might take the full 45 days he requested to be filled. Short story is, messages sent to him were ignored. Calls were not returned. And most importantly, when I was able to get him on the phone, he refused to refund my Paypal account, even though at this time, it had been well beyond three months since I placed my order. It took threatening to contact the Pennsylvania Better Business Bureau to finally get my order filled. Which, BTW, arrived in a flimsy one pound cheese box with nothing but plastic shopping bags for packing inside. The item was the one I ordered, but as to the quality, well the price I paid was not worth it. All of this is a "buyer be ware" kind of thing. In this day and age, customer service is supposed to be a big thing. Don and Reliable Resin certainly showed me very little.
  14. The Mustang GTP that we both saw at Road America is rather different than the kit. The turbo four had it's intake and exhaust switched side for side. I wrote an article for the long gone Motor Racing Replica News on how to correct the kit. The seven eleven car is perfect OOTB. The RA win, the car's first outing was the only win. The equally star crossed Probe followed.
  15. This is good news! I have had a pair of kits ready for some time. The flairs were the sticking point.
  16. Absolutely wonderful to see some endurance racing builders here. I've felt somewhat alone in this pursuit for some time now. I have several group 5 and 4 subjects in various stages of build, and recently just received a set of decals to build the Red Lobster BMW M1 from the IMSA series. The IMSA GTP series is where I have really concentrated my attention to aquiring and building all I can find. Still missing several key items though. Wonderful build of the 935 here. Very impressive!!
  17. The Aston is truly great news. Now can we hope for the ALMS road racing version. Please, pretty please!
