  1. Outstanding build!
  2. I'm curious, where did you find reference for the rear flairs. All the pictures I have been able to find on the net show stock wheel arches front and back. Same for the AIR Corvette team of James Garner.
  3. Just beautiful. Both the real car and your replica. The original Bug's were so ###### elegant. Something the "new" one will simply never be. Congrats on a wonderful build!
  4. Thanks to VW Dave, I received a Tamiya VW Golf GT2 car in the mail. This has long been on my list of must haves due to seeing similar cars at the SCCA June Sprints at Road America in Wisconsin. I will be building it as a rather generic GT4 car that I have pics of. Thanks Dave!!
  5. I like where this is going. Looking forward to more pics as the project moves along. This one has Porsche Club racer all over it!!
  6. I mention it, cause I have one I'd trade for the SVO motor.....
  7. Can I suggest the Taurus SHO motor instead? That would look cool in the engine bay I think.
  8. Looks like it is gonna be a cool one! Do you have plans for the SVO four cylinder?
  9. Nice work on the Esprit. It is indeed a nice kit. I have several of the later released Sport 300 version.
  10. Well done sir! Very real looking sports cars!
  11. Outstanding work on a beautiful GTP. I've been slowly building a collection of all the GTP cars I can in 1/24th scale. The Corvette was my most recent addition to the build pile. I saw them run many times at Road America and Mid Ohio and once at Road Atlanta. Unbelievable race cars for certain. Again, beautiful work!!
  12. I don't really remember where the seats came from, but I believe they were in the snap kit, though perhaps the Chevy 454 SS kit.
  13. I picked it up, and it is as detailed and complete as the other three bodies I have bought,( Porsche GT3 RSR, BMW M3GTR and Jaguar XKR GT3) with a better roll cage to boot. It looks like it will work very nicely on the Revell Audi R8 kit chassis and interior. Now to decide on markings....Patto's in Australia offers several different sheets, though I am hoping they will do the Rolex Grand Am series livery as well.
  14. Awesome job!
  15. Nice build of an awesome race car. I have a repop of this kit I am starting to work on. Brutal car for certain! I saw that Road Atlanta race!
  16. There is a lot of good information on this car in a book called Fast Mustangs by Alex Gabbard.
  17. The induction for the motor was fuel injection. You picked the correct kit for the chassis basis though!.

    Nice work!
  19. Excellent job on a very cool car. I just picked up a Scale Auto 1/24th GT3 body to convert the Revell kit. I love the phantom markings you used.
  20. Very nice build. On my list as well. A very simple vacform setup can be made after a quick trip to Radio Shack. A small , or larger if you wish project box with a perforated bread board (circuit board with un filled holes) is all you need other than a hole saw the size of your vacume cleaner hose and you are good to go. i use an old toaster oven with a simple two piece frame with file clips to hold the plastic for heating.

    Yellow z06

Nice. Great work, and Yellow is the bomb for most Vette's IMHO. I've got one of these ready for a road racing build!
  22. Very cool project. And I'f love to see the Viper ACR club racer. I just picked up the Scale Auto slot body so I can convert the Revell R8 to the GT3 version. Very well done body kit BTW.
  23. Very nice. Pretty car, though I don't remember seeing it at Road America of Mid Ohio. Still, any IMSA car is great by me!!
