  1. VERY nice Doug as it looks like a sweet ride. The very first car I had ever driven was an Oldsmobile also.
  2. While I'm currently in a "building slump" I recently gave my grandson a snap kit for his 6th birthday, which was 'bout 2 weeks ago. Finally got around to supervising him with his first build and I believe he is up for another build real soon. Guess a trip with him to the hobby shop is in order in the near future and of course we'll stop for ice cream too. Here he is with his first model, a Revell 2018 Mustang GT.
  3. Yes MANY people have seemed to have forgot about this very tragic event that happened only18 short years ago. At the time it happened I was doing construction work at a hospital and was shocked to see the plane hit the tower on one of the TV's. It was truly something many people and even I wouldn't think that would ever happen. While at public buildings today they were flying our American flag at half mast, other than my own flag I didn't see any other flags displayed in front of people's houses. Doesn't anyone care what happened on this date 18 years ago, or is it OKAY??? It certainly isn't okay with me as thousands of innocent lives were lost. Doesn't anyone care about the attack on Pearl Harbor, D-Day, and other historic events that cost thousands of American lives. While I'm by no means a "history buff," a lot of these events were brought up either in grade or high school that I was attending or I've seen them mentioned in newspapers which I still read everyday. Seems like a LOT of people are in their own little world and could care less about anything that doesn't directly pertain to them.
  4. abdominal fume buildup
  5. How 'bout the windshield frame, windshield, and up top from the Polar Lights '65 Coronet convert, or wouldn't that work?
  6. I bought a '65 Corsa brand new with the 140 H.P. , 4 speed, and posi and had loads of fun with that car.
  7. Hmmm, I haven't used Squadron putty for awhile and don't think that I have anymore in my workshop. I've been using Bondo Professional Glazing & Spot Putty the last few years for all my work and it seems to work good for my use.
  8. Interesting, and well done.
  9. Those are nice and I believe I might have some of them in my stash of aftermarket parts.
