  1. Oh wow!!!! What a badass ride! That thing looks intimidating. Great paint, looks like a boatload of scratchbuilding in there? You gotta tell us how you did a lot of that stuff.
  2. I had not checked my mailbox in about a week and a half and when I did, I had both the SA and Model Cars mag in there. I will tell you this much, the SA issue is a lot more interesting this month, lots of how-tos and Mr. Cruz has a really cool feature on painting that I really enjoyed. Don't worry Gregg, I also enjoyed the MCM also!
  3. Hey guys, I was just given a few bottles of these paints and I hear they are great. What do you use to thin them? Can I just use water?
  4. I was in FB the other day and saw an add in reference to a book by Doctor Cranky that's supposed to be coming out. Anyone has more info on this?
  5. Really? So why scribe them deep if you are not going to add a blackwash? To me it doesn't make any sense.
  6. Wow Cruz, thoroughly convinced, sounds like a tedious but good method. I will PM you a little later and talk, want to see if you are interested on a business proposition.
  7. I have tried all the methods and have seen some of the stuff posted here and I am still not satisfied, please help me.
  8. Amazing work man, it's unreal to see that something so beautiful can come out of a plastic kit. This one is cool but I still prefer the 66 Impala you had a few months ago on the cover also!
  9. Never imagined seeing this color working on this type of car but you sure made it work. It looks awesome.
  10. Cool, thanks for the pictures. It does look like a small show, how many models overall? Do you or anyone else have more pictures?
  11. Sorry man, I misunderstood. You guys have any pictures of this show? I want to attend next year but I want to make sure it's a good sized show and worth Making the trip.
  12. Sounds like a good show, did you find the lost items in your baggage? I know I would go crazy if it happened to me.
  13. Cruz, you are an artist man.
  14. 200? Doesn't sound like a big show, but I still would like to attend one day.
  15. Keep those pictures saved in your computer, simple.
  16. Wow Cruz, I actually thought it would be more on the dark side since I have used this same color on previous ocassions, I think it turned out perfect specially with that beautiful interior. The panel lines turned out perfect, you really have the hang of that well. Can't wait to see the other parts that will complement the rest of the body in place.
  17. Looks very nice, one of my favorite year Impalas.
  18. Hey man, it was about time you posted something here again, you gotta stop working so much for those magazines, we miss you here. Those little black wash and dry brushing techniques you add to your builds really work great and gives those parts such a realistic look, it's why I enjoy your works in progress so much. I read the tutorial you wrote for the magazine on the panel lines and I am happy to tell you that it's also working very well for me, thanks for that. When are you coming to play some baseball with us again? We need a 1st baseman bad.
  19. How big is this show? someone told me it's small.
  20. My friend just received his through the mail and I must say it's got one of the best covers I've seen this mag put out. Congrats on a great magazine, hopefully I can get my hands on one soon.
  21. Is it issue number 170? The one with the red air force crash truck on the cover?
  22. Thanks for the pictures Cruz. What paint and color did you use for the Lambo? Looks awesome!
  23. Very cool custom brother, looks so real. I will be looking for more info on this camera since I am due for an upgrade myself. Any more pictures from other models? I want to see more spectrum of colors, white is always difficult to photograph.
  24. I have 3 guys here that I want to know more about, Bill Geary, Marcos Cruz and Gregg himself!
  25. I think it's a great idea, I have seen it done in other places too. Guys like John Teresi, Bob Downie and even Harry himself come to mind.
