Simple, clean and beautiful, your usual trademarks my friend. Proof that you can build a gorgeous model without adding so many extras.

Looks terrific.

The color looks like something the factory should have used on this car, really looks cool. Love how clean you finished all your window trim and of course your panel lines. Is this a curbside? I am thinking of ordering one for myself.

The color chosen is perfect for this kit Cruz, nice and clean as usual.

1/25 Revell '70 Plymouth HEMI 'Cuda 2'n1
edward smith replied to MachinistMark's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I think these images say a lot in reference to the lines between the real and model. To tell you the truth, this model looks more like a 68 Camaro than a 'Cuda. The model is from a good friend of mine. -
Latest Issue ? ...

You are right Doc, one of the things I hate about SA is just that....Tim Boyd this, Tim Boyd that and on and on. I know the guy is knowledgeable about the history of the hobby but I am so tired of seeing the same old stuff from them. Also, have you seen the quality of Tim's builds? -
Very nice and yes, the panel lines look very well done, for a moment I thought it was a Cruz build.
-
This really turned out quite cool man, I love it.

Incredible work as usual Cruz, can't get over how nice and realistic you always make your panel lines look, specially on a light color such as this. What color did you use for the grayish look on the spoiler and skirts surrounding the car? It creates a cool looking contrast against that pearl white.
-
Is Tamiya White Pearl paint a good option? How well does it look? Should I use white primer, than white paint and ultimately white pearl? Can I shoot it straight on white plastic?
-
Had the privilege of seeing this one up close and in person and yes, it's as gorgeous as it is in these pictures. Cruz has the magic of making a scale automobile truly unique and he is one of the nicest guys you would ever want to meet.

This is a very cool build and while the panel lines are a bit excessive, it doesn't take away from the beautiful build. There is an excellent tutorial on panel lines by Marcos Cruz in the tips and tutorial section of the forum, check it out, it has worked very well for me.

Very cool, love that Ferrari engine. Is that Replicas and Miniatures? The stacks look great man!

Thank you guys, I am going through a nasty divorce right now and said a few things on another forum that might get back at me, no big deal....

Oh well then, if Martin is right, I am in trouble....

I am seriously worried about how much info an outsider or even a registered user here can find out about you in a forum. Can anyone see the location I am posting from or even my name if I decide to use a fake one? What about an administrator? How deep can he go if he wanted to have any private information? I really like it here but I am going through a few personal problems to the point where I've had to hire a lawyer. Please help.

Went To The Mid-Atlantic NNL This Weekend

By the way, I thought yours was the best model on that category. My friends and I voted for it! -
Went To The Mid-Atlantic NNL This Weekend
edward smith replied to gwolf's topic in Contests and Shows
I too had a great time at the show and it was the first time attending. I finally got to meet Ken Hamilton and also Marcos Cruz, two great guys with a lot of talent and knowledge to share. I didn't think it was a small show, there were enough models there to make me use another memory card on my camera, too bad I lost my camera at one of the rest areas when going back home. Hopefully I am lucky and someone returns it. -
One ugly car!

Seemed like such a small show, I thought it was bigger. How many models overall were there? Would like to attend one day though.

Dispelling Modeling Myths
edward smith replied to JollySipper's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I believe in one thing that never fails.....pictures. You can go on and say that this works or that works but, show me pictures and proof and I am okay. -
Best build of this kit I have ever seen, it's absolutely gorgeous my friend. Love the chassis details also, really completes this thing!
-
You make any model look outstanding Cruz, this paintjob is just awesome. I am practicing my panel line work after reading the article you wrote on the mag, this model proves that there is no better system than yours!

I love this engine, great detail!
