If you are trying to build the first black and purple Trojan Horse Mustang ( the one that won the 1972 World Finals in Amarillo ) the purple stripe does not cover the scoops on the hood, it ends just above the scoops ........ if you are building the later black version with the yellowish gold stripes on the side and hood, I would suggest you try Lou's method mentioned above

  20. Thanks for the nice comments Rick. That is a Competition Resins Camaro body sitting on a modified Polar Lights chassis. The blue is Model Master Blue Pearl decanted and shot through my Paasche air brush.
  21. ..... trying to break this horrible building slump that I'm mired in ....... picked up a project I started almost five years ago and tried to finish it .......... decided that it would be best if I built it as box stock as I could .......... not really pleased with the results, but here it is .......... the "Jungle" Duo ......
