  2. Both look very nice Neil .......... great work
  3. I have only seen one picture (and it wasn't a very good black & white image) of Gary Hazen's fuel dragster in its orange and white livery .......... most that I have been able to find are of the car in its orange, red, and black configuration ......... but the orange & white car has always fascinated me .......... so, here's my attempt at recreating the orange with white striped "Panic" top fuel dragster owned & driven by Gary Hazen ............ it's built from an AMT Garlits kit with MCW lacquers and Slixx decals
  4. I agree Darryl, my favorites were a couple of cars built by my "hometown favorite" Modified Production builder, Carroll Caudle .... the hardtop was a C/MP and the 4-door was a D/MP
  5. These little Willys' were not big at all ........... here's a shot of one with a young lady who stood about 5'6" My Thames looks larger than it really is when shot in a picture with nothing to gauge the size (you would think it's about the size of a '40 Ford Panel) ....... however when photographed with an individual, you can see just how small it really is
  6. ..... my rendition of AMT's '33 Willys street rod ............ I also had to make some adjustments to the basic kit ......... the SOHC Ford was replaced with a big block Chevrolet and the hood reworked to clear a standard Hilborn injector and scoop .......... tires and wheels from the parts box ............ MCW lacquer and Billy Gooche decals
  7. .....box stock build of Revell's '69 Nova kit ............... Cobracolors lacquers, and Slixx decals
  8. Here's my attempt at building Jeff Burton's #99 Taurus ............ box stock Revell kit with Testors enamel and kit decals

  16. Great build sir ........... I love your lesser known builds
  17. Outstanding build sir ......... the paint application is very ingenious
  18. ... I believe that the partnership of John Keeling and Jerry Clayton produced some of the most beautiful drag racing vehicles of the '60's and '70's ............ with their trademark blue paint jobs by George Cerny, they stood out from most of the other vehicles that graced the dragstrips during those times ........... here are my renditions of three of their famous rides 1971 Front Engine Dragster driven by Rick Ramsey 1974 Rear Engine Dragster driven by Rick Ramsey 1977 Firebird Funny Car driven by Neil Leffler
  19. Another absolutely stunning build Darryl ......... your work is always off the charts in terms of both ingenuity and execution
  20. Thanks for the nice comments guys ............ the body is available from Competition Resins and the chassis came from a Polar Lights funny car ............. the engine is a Ross Gibson blown big block Chevrolet ........... and the paints are from Leon Tefft's great Cobracolors offerings which are long gone, Candy Wild Cherry over Glitter Gold Metallic ...... and the decals came from Slixx.
  21. .... the 1969 Corvair funny car owned by Joe and Frank Pisano and driven, wrecked, and destroyed by the original "Kamikaze Kid", Sush Matsubara
  22. ..... the 1999 Kellogg's K-Sentials Monte Carlo .......... winner of the 1999 Winston All Star Race ............ owned by Rick Hendrick and driven by Terry Labonte
