  1. I ordered it online. As much as I hate going in or near a Walmart, I did venture into my local one looking for these with no luck.
  2. Here you guys! Feast your eyes on this! ;D Let me first tell you what a pain it was repainting this thing. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!!!! Anyhow.......it's now complete and ready to be delivered to it's anxious owner. A few details I added are flocking the interior, installing some of my interior strobes, adding door mirror strobes, adding the missing rear window trim, removing the toy like spotlights from the windsheild and relocating it to the A-Pillar complete with an interior handle, adding hand made antennas and creating some detailed lenses for the license plate reader cameras. I also detail the wheels with wheel weights and air valve stems. The hood still needs to get polished since I just painted it this morning.
  3. Just an FYI..........I recently stripped and repainted one of these and let me tell you.....There is something with this metal that etching primer will not adhere to. I degreased, roughed up the surface with 400 grit paper, soaked it in viniger to further etch the metal and the Duplicolor etching primer still peeled right off.
  4. Stunning! That paint job is fantastic
  5. "Zoli you are my inspiration man!" Aw shucks
  6. my favorite wagon build to date this one was built prior to one above
  7. Have you seen their K-9 Tahoes? Bleckhh!!!! But i'm still going to build one anyway
  8. sure is! I have a few more planned
  9. As you can see, I got a little side tracked from the 1/43rd scale customs. This here is my first Lindberg Police car kit. The previous cruisers I built, were built using the RT version as a basis. Anyway, I built this using Greenbelt, MD's new paint scheme to see how it would look on the Charger. The paint is all Tamiya colors. I added rear window bars, cut down the windows to simulate rolled down glass, detailed the heck out of the light bar, replaced the spotlight with one from the Lindberg CV kit, added trim rings to the wheels using bare metal foil, custom made the antennas and front pushbar mounted strobes and added my own inkjet decals.
  10. Also included in the kit, whicha re not shown on the instructions, are separate body side moldings for the doors.
  11. I was very surprised to see how many nice looking Charger police cars they have.
  12. Here is my first International custom cruiser based on a 1/43rd scale FRR Charger. Features include my custom base, light bar mounted spotlight, carpeted and repainted interior, my custom decals and some extra detail painting.
  13. That blue Baldwin is absolutely beautiful. Great job on the masking and paint
  14. Notice the corvette tail lights
  15. Looking good so far. Now get back to work on it so I can see more
  16. I'm thinking of adding some paint to the rims......just haven't really come up with any ideas yet. I might play around with a spare rim and see what happens. Now for the interior. Brown/tan or grey?
  17. Today I layed down the clear coat. Man those colors really POP now!
  18. I actually painted this in reverse. I first shot the silver, masked off the stripes, shot the green then the red. I was going cross eyed while masking those stripes and trying to keep everything straight. I also found out, while masking the stripes, that the louvers on the hood are not exactly centered on the hood.
  19. two of mine
  20. Paint is all dupli-color products. Now on to the interior assembly and detailing.
  21. Finally, the second time around, we've got a paint job! I ended up going with different colors than I originally planned on. I've got a little bit of touch up to do before the clear goes on.
  22. Today I took a large step backwards with this build. The paint job got screwed up so it's off to the stripper.
  23. Once you walk through that door, your a member for life! Great club, great people and a lot of talent!
  24. Wow! Found my thread on page 10 appears as if though I've been slacking. This project has been stalled since I wasn't quite sure how to paint it....but I now have good idea as to what I'm going to do. Colors will a little bit of red, some white and a lot of blue with the graphics being a slight twist on a production car graphic....Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder what it could be......
  25. Getting down to the final body work, then on to paint booth. Hood vents are now OPEN! The rear end is getting a little modification as well by blending the bodywork around the mufflers.
