  1. Absolutely. Much more cost effective scanning a vintage kit. More than likely Round 2 has access to one already . I would bet this is probably on their list of projects slated for production in the future.
  2. HPI Guy builds the MPC 1971 Dodge Demon.
  3. I saw and heard that last night too. Glad I did the preorder for the Demon. Looking forward to this one. He also mentioned that the Demon kits shipped out yesterday or shipping out today to the distributers.
  4. I do agree with you that the shows and swap meets seem like social gatherings. Nothing negative about that. There's more to just the contest and swap meet, and yes it does become a social function.
  5. Good idea , but the direction Round 2 seems to be taking is to focus more on kits that builders have been requesting for a long time; ie; 68 Coronet, 71 Dodge Demon, Time Machine Chevelle AWB drag car, 60-63 Ford F-100 trucks, etc; which have been recently released or slated for release very soon. Just speculation; but maybe Round 2 will clone Craftsman kits from certain year time periods once they get through requested subjects.
  6. Most definetly look into doing the 67 Galaxie hardtop kit. It is a highly requested kit.
  7. HPI Guy shows gives us the what's in the box review of the upcoming MPC 1071 Dodge Demon kit.
  8. Is the shipment of 71 Demon kits on it's way to the U.S yet?
  9. I was wondering the same thing. If Jo-Han USA Oldies LLC is the new company; did Okey Spaulding sell his ownership of the JoHan/Seville name ? How is he able to sell the JoHan kit parts when there is a new company now? Is this a situation where there are two Johan entities; one entity owned by Okey Spaulding and another owned by a group of individuals that call their company JoHan USA Models LLC? Looks like there is two Jo-Han companies.
  10. Anyone at the DAAM show today; can you get closeups of the 68 Coronet and Charger samples and post here? Thanks.
  11. Is the DAAM show this weekend? If it is , anyone posting pics of the 68 Coronet R/T prototype?
  12. My gut feeling is that the 67 Galaxie kit be announced sometime in 2024. Definetly another highly requested subject. Not based on any factual info. Just speculation. Just thinking this is the next logical subject that Round 2 could be working on.
  13. MPC and other surprises; the other surprises might not be MPC subjects but subjects of AMT. As stated above, we won't know till this weekend.
  14. Wonder if the other surprises could be either the AMT 67 or 68 Ford Galaxie kits. Am I warm or cold on these two subjects?
  15. Going back to the topic of the 71/72 Roadrunner. Is there any plans for this one next year? Maybe Steve G. would know.
  16. Just an update. Still can't switch pages. Is this issue being looked into?

  18. Welcome. My mother is from an Italian island called Pantelleria that is just northwest of Malta, where you live.
  19. Does not answer your question but it is listed to be announced (TBA) on the Stevens International website. AMT PLASTIC MODEL KITS AMT-1389 1/25 Touch Tone Terror 1966 Dodge A100 Pickup Truck $35.99 TBA
  20. I like the meatloaf analogy. At least the meatloaf is very tasty and easily obtainable.
  21. So, what's the final outcome of the Powell Pickup. Were any sold? Last word on this was that someone stole the finished model that was supposed to be displayed.
  22. I remember these. Grasshopper was the entry level of the Tamiya buggies. Price point was lower than the Rough Rider, Sand Scorcher, Ford F-150 Unlimited off road cars. The grasshoppers were better performers , especially with 540 Mabuchi motors.
  23. When on a thread that has multiple pages, I am not able click on pg 2, pg. 3, or next page. Won't advance to the next page. George
