  1. Interior is done. the 1:1 is spartan inside so I decided to avoid the multiple speaker sound system I had planned
  2. Smoked the windows by scuffing them with 6000 grit then airbrushing tamiya smoke
  3. Garage was freezing and wife doesnt want me getting sick so as long as im using tamiya and not painting a whole car i can paint in the house.
  4. Granted a rare privilege of painting inside the house because its too cold in the garage
  5. Was able to paint something before the temperature cools
  6. Finally got a decent temp range in the garage so I decided to paint. Didn't want a cliche Playboy color so I went for Candy Orange.
  7. Thanks, It's kinda hard to work with and you do need a decently fast gaming laptop to operate it. Eventually I'll do a YouTube video on it
  8. Have you talked to MCS? Maybe he has a idea or a different model
  9. Slow your printer way down for thin parts also reduce you exposure times. your resin is bad i suggest you contact the manufacturer
  10. Got the FDMs working hard making new organizers and jigs, sadly i didnt know this only fit tamiya bottles and BSI only but the MR hobby stuff is organized.
  11. I kept my Xmas list light there's other stuff coming tomorrow
  12. None, treat it like resin go slow and wear a mask
  13. Finished the floorboard but ran out of resin. Originally I was supposed to cut the interior tub floor to mate to the floorboard but changed plans and cut the print instead and caused a whole load of problems after that. That aside I learned that Wesleys Bleeche white cleans the residue after curing better than alcohol does without as much waste all I did was spray it, let it sit a second, then hit it with a soft brush and rinse it off.
  14. First big print, scanned the chassis and separated the frame and floorboard into two separate parts, floorboard still printing. Only difference really is the narrowed rear arches for deeper dish wheels.
  15. Modded my pen sander to hook and loop now I use it for most of my sanding
  16. Was actually the first body i successfully scanned and at the time didnt know what to do with it ive since learned the scanner and now pretty much putting every kit i build through the process before any work is done. This one Got a C10 Grille, bunny window fillers, and wanted a more first gen camaro style bumper to match up the grill, other accessories are being printed as the build progresses. the van is 1/20 so i had to scale some lowrider wheels to stock 10" and made some custom tires for it. the Honda letters will be shaved at some point only give away it was a honda will be on the trunk handle.
  17. Finished the C10 nose and custom bumper, just gotta open the housing more so I can tuck the C10 grill
  18. The car was referred in the movie as a Shelby even the Shelby likenesses we're used.
  19. Good news, now I hope all the builder she stole cars from sue as well. And maybe one of the companies will deliver a kit? https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a42233053/shelby-estate-wins-eleanor-ford-mustang-copyright-lawsuit/
  20. Squaring up the Honda C10 Kei to get the parts ready for print and making new bumpers to line up more with the grill
  21. i use it regularly helps with designing parts no more taking a ton of measurements and screw up a fender flare
  22. I'm still on the fence with this project since I won't be selling directly to people, they will be traditionally casted with soft compound tires I'm thinking 270 all around with 35 profile in the front and 40 in the back. The wheels are staggered offset 2 piece.
  23. First build in almost 6 years. I decided to use this car as a skills benchmark to see where I was at and where I need to do some work. The interior is all custom cut craft foam with printed dash, seats, and console. Outside just opened trunk, 3D printed wheels and hydraulics.
  24. Nobody under 35 wants a A67 lol, the cool supras start at A70
