  4. fifty years ago? wasn't that considered just a tune-up? this thread is headed down the Del Rio Road but fast!
  5. if anyone's "con" list is more extensive than their "pro" list, perhaps it be time for another pursuit?
  6. wow; you've got that body in a double-suplex!
  7. probably not practical for a one day show (time constraints) but great for the second day of a convention style affair. sunday morning, coffee, and some modeling chit-chat.
  8. let's separate "lack of motivation to build" from "uncompleted kits". you can not have the former, and plenty the latter! it's really apples and oranges
  9. for what it's worth, your builds do generate a following and everyone appreciates the posts & pictures when you get 'round to it.
  10. and in other news, Trash Vigilante bites the dust ... hope you get your butt kicked good
  11. my cousin could finish a model in 45 minutes. no paint, no decals, no deviation from the instructions. may as well be doing the Jumble by my thinking. but he was happy to add it on the shelf. diffr'nt strokes.
  12. this is a pretty nice ride: different plate than the one pictured, but google will do that to you sometimes
  13. round-un round-un round-un round-un squahr-un guiss which-un we here use at the Night Owl Gar-age? sometimes the industrial designers don't even get the easy ones right!
  14. i called this morning and they put 4 cans of spray paint at the register for me.
  15. a volks-vagen which knows not whether it coming or going
  16. i think in every "trade" it's important to educate the audience/ consumer. to be successful doing this, you need to address the audience in terms they can understand. when the audience is broad, it's a bit more of a challenge to make the least knowing understand whilst not boring those with experience. but typed anything is usually more better than chickenscratched everything.
  17. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=71864 when you're finished, come back and we can get you more!
