  1. For that I'd send them 72 Pennies. I would have cost less to write that bill off, then mailing it out.
  2. This last Saturday was the Kalamazoo toy show. I picked up a Monza promo, the combo pack 1969 1/12 1/24 Camaro kit and afterwards I bought a set of flexi files from Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon. When I came home, my wife had picked up a Ferrari kit at a garage sale.
  3. Take a few pics of any bodies that you got. Please and thank you.
  4. That is really cool looking. I will have to get one.
  5. I bought a paint storage rack from my lhs a couple weeks ago. I finally got it set up in my model room.
  6. Seconded. That's quite the mini collection. That 71 racers wedge truck is very nice.
  7. Go Tigers. I just wish it had been Verlander that pitched a perfect game.
  8. I almost bought one on ebay for way more than I was comfortable with. Now I will have to buy two.
  9. To be honest, I thought that emodelcars was not working any more. I never checked to see what was on there. Do you have a list of kits that you are getting rid of? If so I'll pm you for it.
  10. Am I close by the offending trader? I am always up for meeting new modelers.
  11. I made my first eBay purchase in over three years last week and both kits arrived today. The 63 Oldsmobile is a good rebuilder and the Pinto is a complete hatchback with a wagon body.
  12. I do this, except for older kit's like Johan. I sort those by manufacturer, then make, year.
  13. I had almost sent a pm offering two million dollars for your kit's. Oh well your loss. I also like your sign quote from Aaron Lewis, DTOM.
  14. I went to Hobby Lobby again today to get Easter decorations with my wife. I bought these two kits with the 40% off coupons, the cashier counted my six year old daughter as a separate customer so I could use two coupons. Both kit's are now my second of each, so it wasn't a bad deal.
  15. Nice group of Johan's. I like every one of those kits.
  16. Martinfan, Most of the time they are in the model section or the island stands nearby.
  17. I went to the lhs yesterday and picked up this from a collection he had bought. Today I went to Hobby Lobby and bought this with a 40% off coupon. The Oldsmobile was on clearance for 10.79 at HL.
  18. Nice looking Vic you have there. I have owned several over the years. Crownvic.net has lots of helpful guys on there, I've been a forum member there for ten years. How many idle hours do you have?
  19. That seller sure has some cool kits for sale. The 65 Fairlane, the Daytona transporter and the Chevelle drag team are pretty sweet. If I only had the money.
  20. Not sure if it counts, but I cleaned my garage for the first time since we bought our house four and a half years ago. The best part was finding my Hubley diecast kit collection. I packed them up when I moved out of my parent's house over ten year's ago. I vaguely remembered where they were, but I never had the motivation to clean the garage to get them. Here are the highlights, one big box of part's, every Model A version Hubley made, one Dusenberg, two Packards, and the first model that I ever built entirely on my own.
  21. While on a quick trip to Detroit yesterday , I stopped at a small hobby shop that was mostly a slot car track with a few kit's. The owner had taken a Johan Maverick box, with a Pinto drag car inside. With a little haggling, I bought it for twenty dollars. I have a built Maverick pro stock for the box and I'll have to find a box for the Pinto.
  22. There really isn't anything that I don't like to do. Now having to strip paint due to my half butt attempt to secure a body to my painting stand and havingkg the freshly painted body fall off.
  23. From what I recall, Hubley didn't make a 63. Just several different 1960's Ford's, four door, wagon etc. Ill check mcm, there was a feature about Hubley.
  24. That sounds like a promo, a picture would help for sure.
