  1. Don't set a standard that you will have to keep up for the next forty or so years. Take your time and don't finish that honey do list to fast. She very may well expect that kind of dedication forever. Your weekend could end up like this, no watching football, no modeling, no guy things, just matching the paint to the decorative pillows in the bedroom at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Just some advice from one married guy to a about to be married guy. "Remember, I'm pulling for you. We're all in this together." The great and wise Red Green
  2. I asked the local HTU, and they had two on order for 33.95 each. That's way to rich for my tastes.
  3. Has anyone seen these at Hobby Lobby yet?
  4. I still want more than the four I bought. I missed out on the previous reissues, so these are great, wrong decals or not. Besides, I wouldn't use the kit decals for a police car any way.
  5. Exactly this. And a 2003 Mercury Marauder full detail kit.
  6. I have some old mre's I could add into the deal if that would help.
  7. The end isn't near, but if you think so, I'll pay shipping for all of your kits.,,
  8. As sad as it is, I bought two of the Mustang kits to get the tires. I am sure that I will find a use for the rest of the kits, but the ties are really nice. The total cost was just under 28.00 for both kits at Hobby Lobby with the 40% off coupons.
  9. That's a dream builder collection. Good job saving them.
  10. Don, thank you for the answer.
  11. Does anyone know if this kit is based on the Johan 1970 Oldsmobile kit? I bought one yesterday and another today. I opened one and the similarities between the two kits make it look like the tooling is either the same or close to it.
  12. I went to Hobby Lobby and took advantage of the 40% off coupon. I picked up the 50 Oldsmobile, and the AMT Hurst Oldsmobile.
  13. I think a link to the Ebay auction as well as pics of what you actually got would help. File a claim with Paypal if there is actually merit to your claim.
  14. Welcome Nick. Enjoy the forum, there is plenty of great modeling information here. Don't let the spelling Nazi's get to you, is important, but not the only thing to life. There was just a post here about another forum that attacked a young member for his spelling. They are now shutting down their site. I thought that this forum was better than that, but apparently some here are not. The manners of some people have been lost over time.
  15. Just a personal thought. Why would anyone buy a product from a business that has such a checkered review history? Regardless of the product offered, it seems like it just isn't worth the risk. No one would buy from a Ebay seller with a 50% positive feedback rating, so why do modelers still order?
  16. I'll take the 32 Packard.
  17. I can think of several other subjects for a new tool kit that would be more worthy. Such as mid to late sixties Bronco, any AMC muscle car of the late sixties or early seventies, a Maverick, or a well thought out funny car from the sixties or seventies. Just my opinion though.
  18. Neither have I. I looked around there and didn't find too much that wasn't already here.
  19. Nice hatchback Pinto score, but where are the wagons?
  20. That hurts worse than a skittles themed Crown Victoria that is donked here in town. I can only hope that is a photo shopped picture.
  21. This is great news, I love the hornet and 300 kits. But this one will be very awesome. I can't wait. Thank you Mr. Metzner for all the hard work you guys are doing.
  22. This is by no means a accurate representation of the sales of that kit, but the one at my local Hobby Lobby has dust on it from sitting there so long.
  23. I bought some books over the last week or so.
  24. That would be great. I love that kit.
