  1. Sorry, but somebody had to do it. I don't mind the one word posts, I am a member of a lot of forums and this one is the best run forum of them all. The texting in posts drives me crazy.
  2. I'm pretty sure that you can, I have asked the cashier to use the 40% coupon in place of the sale discount and they have. I even called the store and asked the manager if I could do that before I made the trip.
  3. I almost thought that Hobby Lobby was ending the 40% of coupon. That wouldn't be a good way to start out a new year.
  4. I build them, there are plenty of each kit out there. There are only four kits that I have that I won't ever build, my dad built them and they well stay that way.
  5. Well looking at that model makes me think that I spent my year building poorly. It is absolutely beautiful. Fantastic work.
  6. Great builds, great video. I looked like this when I read that you finished sixty kits.
  7. More. 1964 Mercury Comet. Lindberg Ford Crown Victoria, quick build. Rebuild of a AMT Chevrolet Nova with extra parts. AMT 1966 Ford Fairlane with a scratchbuilt trailer. I have a few more that I hope I can finish before the end of the year.
  8. This year I actually built some models and finished more that I started. For some resin I only built kits that were older, with the metal axles though the engine blocks. It didn't start out that way, after the first few, I thought that it would be fun to try and build just metal axles kits for the year. Some were quick, weekend builds, others I spent more time with the kit. Johan 1970 Oldsmobile. AMT 1976 Chevrolet Caprice AMT 1962 Buick 225 &1963 Chevrolet Impala, these were weekend builds. Johan Chrysler Johan Desoto
  9. This is my Christmas presents. I finally found a hobby shop that carried the Detailier black wash, so I got an extra bottle.
  10. It's been almost two years since I wrote the above post. For a few months after this thread ended, I started down the road to uncontrolled model buying. My stash went from 250 unbuilt kits to over six hundred in less than a year. I got them from flea markets, neighbors, garage sales, Craigslist, my lhs. It got out of hand very quickly since I wasn't picky at all. If it was reasonable, I bought it. I realized that I was getting out of control with buying models. I sold off just over half of my collection, almost all of my built ups and kept what I really want. I can only hope that I have enough time to build them all.
  11. But that's not really a Jaguar. It's based on a shared platform designed by Ford for the Lincoln LS. A real Jaguar would be from pre Ford ownership.
  12. Could you pretty please take a picture of the 1972 Fords? I have wanted to get one, but I would like to see what they look like.
  13. I would think that most, if not all of the 1970 Ford police parts would look ok in the 1978 dukes of hazard police car.
  14. It depends on how old you are looking for. Lindberg makes a 1996/7 Crown Victoria police car, they are very outdated here in Michigan. They can be bought very cheap for a model these days. Johan is pretty much out of business, they won't be releasing the 1968 again.
  15. Wow, you seem to have great results with a Craigslist ad. I may have to try that here.
  16. I would also. I hope that they bring out something from the 1930's like a Duesenberg.
  17. Do you need an adoptive son? That's my dream collection, good job getting that many rare kits.
  18. That's my problem too. I can't quite get the courage to sell one of my arms just to get one if those Imperials. I really want one, but I can't get one for less than a fortune.
  19. But in the front seat you can hit the bad guy with a sap to quiet him or her down.
  20. They sell cars for less than five grand? At least that's what my price range could be.
  21. What website has these on pre order? I can't seem to find it listed in any of my usual sites.
