Hi all. No update on this.As a rule my Summer build time gets cut. every one is starting to head home from summer trips So will be back at in the next few weeks. Now if I can remember were I left off.

Jerrys are the best I have used other decals from him. Have not used the "Smoke decals" but looking at the photos his are more like the move. Think they mixed the two too make one. If I remember rite. part 2 had just a blue stripe down the side. and the GMC was silver with blue stripes.(dark blue and lite blue).

The orange and white,looks real close too the one we had back in the 70'S??. Been working on the paint for a year now,,one day..

Here is my photo page. I cut on a 45 and off set the cuts. Driver side just in front of the drivers. Passenger side just behind the cab.I try to have 1/2 CM or so fore the glue to bite. I rember too! back in the 70's I would stand at the counter looking at the models.. A few weeks ago a friend of mind was pickn in his barn and found 2 boxs filled with Overdrive(I think). Bet I spent 2HR looking at model of the month.

Paint and wax,slow go,took a full can of paint on this. boy was a butt to use. krylon Lime green. few more things then done. Does any one have a motor for one of these?

I would stick with hobby link. If your going to do a lot of chopping ,dicing. And if you goof up you got extra parts,with not a lot of cost.

WOW!!!! love it, still looking for the long stare to get here. Pleas don't start taking this thing apart about what all is wrong. We (builders) have been crying for new kits, now were getting them and still crying about what is wrong. If you can fix it fix if its real bad then say something. Because not all kits are dead on.Look at AMT,Revell and the others at how far off they are some time not even close( like the Rubber Duck). And these guy jumped in hot water over heads trying to something good. So enjoy it as builders some better than others. Give some help to the one that are not.. Dave you all are doing a great job!!!!! if things keep going maybe we can see new stuff like KW'S,Pete's Hummm. Great job.

How hard is is it too bend the prongs on these???
