  4. One snap kit,flat sheet,photos and around a week of chopping and cutting with some extra parts one could have a truck with a pup.
  5. painted the hood fenders,Think it look better now.
  6. Hey bandit,had to go darker,no one in town had that green. So what do you think now. will get the hood fenders over weekend.

  8. what I do with most of there cabs is build around the floor pan. Placing 2 drops on each side and a full bead along the cab seams,let dry,fill and sand seams. Then using a xato blade running between the pan and walls with care and pop out. paint what need be and replace floor. thats the only think I don't like about those kits.

  12. Yep!! A butterfly hood opens like a butterfly. Like on the model "T" or "A".

  14. It has been sitting in a dust storm. Any time I start cleaning and moving I brake things. so they sit for some time. maybe this winter will work on them. Yes it works great for dust collector's.

If you using the round fenders,sounds like the step on the fenders is hitting the cylinders AKA air cleaners or air cleaner canisters. could be hood a bit to short or the steps a bit to large,Maybe a bit of sanding would help. I have a number of these kits. As for me I have never used the so called pit fenders 3 sided flat fenders ,I understand there not the rite shape and that could be it too. Think tim can help he has built a few.

  17. spent most of the day working on mine. I traced out the cab shape on sheet stock or what I had now I'm out . After word Why not use cardboard. Taking more than I thought. OH the cab roof is not flat it has a bit of a curve too it.
  18. been looking at the glass chrome, rite now don't won't to pay $9.00 a can. When it comes to Krylon you may have too pick around and find what is best for you,I think I have use the brilliant silver for me it's real close, You have too let it set about 10 days or so. it has a film that will leave finger prints. Make sure you hands are clean too, The new fan tip sprayers are better,they rotate 360 Deg. madman is sooooooo rite about the clear.

  20. OH,I started with a 378 kit and used a resin hood from GW resin trucks(Think that's what he goes by)he had no web site,have too look up his email.

  23. Too much to list on this one. every think is hand made but cab,hood frame few other things. And working tool box's. Hey Eric!!! I need more lights. :D :D
