  1. Brown trailers, never thought of that, been racking my brain.
  2. if the glass is in place that's a tuft one. See if you can stick paper under the shell and glass.
  3. straightforward and looks good. I been trying to copy the revell kit, real Paine.
  4. be sure too sand the interior bucket, dash ends good so it will fit. Seems that over the years it has grown a bit,a belt sander worked for me. Or the cab bows out.
  5. he is asking about the trainy. yeah about the same idea. Im sure there is a fuller or eaton man in here that can tell more. Also for a (RUFF) idea you can youtube Fuller transmission. Its beef 22 years since I been in one what is being used now I have no clue.did look at one video To me that dont seem rite.
  6. that's a good one and not too bad.it has a 3 part cab, take a your time and it will come come out fine. the bucket is a tad large,so i used a belt sander too file it down too fit and the peepwindow as well.for the back wall was a bit too small so I trim it out with thin strips. test fit every thing. for a first time I think a one piece cab would work.
  7. I remember that ride. You bringing back OLD memory's.
  8. The stuff works better warm. I have let parts set all winter in the cleaner. but in Summer just a few days.
  9. use "photobucket" or another host site. The Bandwidth(as a guess) for copy and past is not that wide, around 4 too 6 photos then it stops. Unless you have photobucket then good luck,it is a pest some times.
  10. Did you look in the 1:1 page or idea's page. Google winslow, hanks trucks site.
  11.     No they don't. I can't keep brakes on mine and I'm not one of those brake slammer like most folkes.
  12. Last I know of the maxi brake or large can goes on the front driver the smaller one on the back. Off had since Italeri is French or UK there rules may not be the same as ours. Who knows.
  13. looking up info is hard. If there is a truck stop or shop keep a eye out. http://www.hendrickson-intl.com/Trailer/Slider-Suspension/VANTRAAX-HKANT-46K-Wide-spread
  14. sounds good,May get one this Fall. build the frame and mark off the cut with pen or so,flip over the frame and and glue on a brace(this half will be floppy). glue the insert too the rear half and let set over night. Build hood or mockup (I used revell 359 hinges). Set hood cab in place.tape cab too the frame. put dabs of glue on the end of inserts, before glue drys make the adjustments so hood and cab line up and keep checking by placing a ruler at the end of the steer axle and one of the drivers. I be-leave the steering box will have too be moved as well. to lower the cab(IF it need too be). look on the firewall cut the tabs down. keep them even I layered strips of plastic 1MM thick next too the cab mounts. As in 5 layers then 4 and so on too 2.with each cut test fit. The intake made from ink pen and flat strips for detail.
  15. to keep from moving every thing.I cut the frame just in front of the cab mounts rite behind the springs ADD about 3MM and lower the cab. Cut the cab mounts down too 2MM(I think) cut and fit cut and fit. the rear mount need too be reshaped. it is molded like a V reshape so it is more like a U. Cut a tad shorter. The hood hinges are not rite for a 379,but maybe they will work. too see the out come look for Dads 379( I think) it is. GTG for now.
  16. try GW resin,he made them a few years ago.
  17. Griffen Designs and Silver State are gone. I got one of the last of his casting.
