  1. Nice details on your interior and pump panels. What kit is this?
  2. Nice progress updates Steve.
  3. Thanks Alex. The last one I built was back in the 70’s when they first issued it.
  4. Thanks Jeff. I’m going with the ripper on the back.
  5. Now that I have my detachable lowboy finished I need a load for it. I’m using the AMT/ERTL issue of the bulldozer. I have a PE kit, cab cover, hydraulic cylinder for the blade and new tracks that are shipping next week from ST Supply company. I’ve started working on the engine and some work on the blade. I’m going to do my first real weathering attempt on this one. I’m going for a very well maintained and not very old look. As always your comments are always welcome and appreciated.
  6. Thanks Stace on this one the outriggers are fixed in the open position.
  7. Nice reworking on your bumper Warren and it’s going to look good on the Brockway too.
  8. Thanks Brian Thanks Doug I’ve got 2 more shelves above this one waiting for models. I’m going to be rearranging my shelves after the Modelmania model show seeing that it’s been 3 years since I went to this show so I’m going to be taking a lot of models. Thanks Chris Thanks Dave. It’s not going to be ready for the show my paint just arrived today and I’m not sure when my aftermarket parts are going to arrive. Its already over a month since I placed my order. Thanks Larry Thanks Warren. Not yet I’ve still got 2 shelves on this wall to fill and then I can add another 30 liner feet of shelves on the side wall.
  9. Thanks Brian Thanks Carl Thanks Ronnie Thanks Gary
  10. This is another detachable lowboy kit from Stace. I wanted this one a different than the first one I did. I made the goose neck similar to a Dorsey trailer and did my own rear suspension. This one will be carrying a bulldozer so I’ve got to outriggers opened up for the wide load. As always your comments are always welcome and appreciated.
  11. I’ve added just one more detail.
  12. Jeff I used 2 1/2 large paper clips cut to 1/8” pieces with one end file smooth. Thanks Brian.
  13. Thanks Jeff I’ve finished the trailer for now with bolting down the boards with all 96 bolts lol. Now to start the bulldozer for a load. I’m going to wait for a sunny day to get some outside pictures to put this under glass.
  14. It’s all your little details that’s making this a awesome build Steve. They all look great.
  15. This is going to be a awesome Brockway Warren.
  16. I was able to to get some spray painting done and then some wood working. Started on the little details to. Yea that’s the bulldozer that’s going on the trailer.
  17. That’s a nice frame jig. I sure could use one like that.
  18. Thanks Jeff. You get 4 of the pup engines and you just have to paint them. https://www.shapeways.com/shops/downrangeproductions1-35th-scale?section=Engines+%2F+Transmissions+%26+Parts&s=0
  19. The pup engine arrived today ?so I have been able to make it fit in between the hydraulic cylinders after a little revision work on the push plate. This is still a mock up with the engine and battery and the cover. Looking like tomorrow I’ll be painting some Sublime green paint.
  20. Awesome project Alex great subject to build and your scratch building is coming along nicely. I’m following this build.
  21. Worked on the outriggers and D-Rings. I’m going to be using the outriggers on this trailer and decided that I was short 10 outriggers so instead of ordering some I decided to make some myself. Was able to get them all cleaned up and painted today.
  22. Your Detroit looks awesome Scott. Did you take any pictures of the different parts before assembly?
