Thanks Sam Thanks Jeff -
With this build I started up a new sister company to my Super Bee Trucking company. This one is Super Bee Transit Mixing with same paint system but different colors. I used to reissued KW/Challenge mixer kit and the Autocar dump truck kit to make this one up. There was very little modifications required for the change out. I did a WIP with the modifications. Next on my work bench will be a another Super Bee Trucking Mack DM 600 steel hood dump truck.

Great progress Jeff. Looking at your reference picture are you going to be adding the window wiper on the passenger side window? I also see that they left the holes where the original head lights were. -

Thanks Carl Thanks Jeff. I got the DM 66 steel hood from Gary Wallace that has 14 parts just for the hood. It’s just like the DM 800 parts but shorten. Plus it’s a lot cheaper and I don’t have as many parts added to my parts boxes. My WIP for it is coming later today with pictures. -

I’ve finished the interior and working on details on the cab. This one is getting closer to finishing up. I’ve already decided on my next build and have received my resin parts for it. I’m adding another Super Bee dump truck to my fleet this one is going to be another Mack DM 600 but with the steel hood. Here’s my current progress pictures. -

Autocar/ Challenge Transit Mixer
Mopar - D replied to Mopar - D's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
I’m just about finished with the mixer section and I built the engine for it. The kit does not provide any brackets for storing the extra chutes so I scratch built some and I’ve had to modify the platforms a little bit to because the fenders are not in the same location as the kit. Looks like I could of lengthen the frame about 20 scale inches but the rear axle spacing is bigger than the KW. -
