  3. This is going to be a cool build Scott I’ll be following along.
  4. I was able to get the black sprayed on today before the cold front hits us tonight.
  5. Roger you can add me to the list but I’m still deciding on what my build is going to be.
  6. This will be a very interesting build Roger have you decided on what version of the Frightliner your going with SD or DD?
  7. Thanks Jeff I’m getting ready to spray on the black
  8. Very interesting build George I’m going to be following along. Have you decided on any colors yet?
  9. Thanks Ken . Your super bee looks awesome and would go good with my fleet. Lol. Thanks Judah. I’ve also got some black going on it to. Thanks Bill Thanks Carl. This is the paint I used from Hobby Lobby.
  10. Jerry I used Scale Finish’s Dodge PY4 Yellow Jacket.
  11. Really nice clean build Tommy. What kit is this?
  12. Awesome build Ken. Looks good with the black and yellow colors.
  13. Awesome build Irwin, I built mine the same colors and had problems with the paint and side windows also. I got the 6.4 Hemi engine and suspension kit. I had problems with the rear axle and springs staying in place the only thing that keeps the axle in place is the shocks and stabilizer bars.
  14. Jerry both of my Mack dump trucks are here in the WIP showing the building.
  15. Wow I hope they don’t change anything Dave has or discontinue any of his trucks.
  16. Jerry I didn’t have any problems with the 2 I built this year. You need to make sure that you get the rear cab support level and square with the frame.
  17. Been working on the rebuild and it seems like when I built this one back in 2010 I didn’t think about cleaning any of the paint off the parts before glueing them together. So just about anything I touch comes apart which is good and bad. The engine just about fell out of it so I was able too repaint it. The front axle also popped off so I’ve shorten it to get the front tires where they should be. The fuel tanks were already off so I’ve repainted them to match the rest of the fleet. I was able to to get the yellow on the cab today. I’m hoping to get the black sprayed before our cold front comes in.
  18. Thanks Dave. It’s been 2 years since I moved to this is my last truck to fix from moving. This one had the most damage out of all the ones that I moved. Thanks Bill Thanks Ken I used my old cab as a practice. Thanks Carl Thanks Stephen most of the parts were already off the truck from moving 3 times and no repairs between moving. I have a lot of spare parts from this kit. I use this kit as donor for my resin trucks plus our Hobby Lobby was selling them and they would put them on sale for 40% off so I have a few extra ones in my stash. Thanks Judah, check out my progress today.
  19. This is the White Frightliner DD that I built as a day cab back in 2010. It is also the first black and yellow truck that I’ve made into the Super Bee Trucking. After 3 moves there’s to many pieces that have come off to just reattach so I decided to do a rebuild on it. I also have a couple of extra cabs and interior’s in my parts boxes so I’m going to do the head light height correction and shorten the front axle. I’m also going to update the paint to. I’ve started on the head lights correction.
  20. Looks good Jeff and I think it’s going to help you with your weathering.
  21. Nice start on your Ford LNT8000.
