I know I've seen it somewhere on the forum before, and I tried to find it again. The 60 "custom" kit has exhaust manifolds, and a set of factory headers in it. My question is, does the 2 in 1 "deluxe" kit have the same parts, PLUS a set of long tube headers as well?

This is one killer third gen f body build. Your paint is beautiful and that engine looks fantastic. Nice and clean build.

Very nice car. I've been on a Ford kick lately, and I enjoy seeing a nice cougar build.

Looking great so far. I built this kit quite a few years ago. It was a fun build. You just inspired me to buy another another for a future build. I'm definitely following this one. -

Nice work on the seats, John. Your attention to detail is impeccable. -
I like, I like....

Finished the Galaxie last night. Usually I have to play around with the front end, when using the Starliner chassis. This one really became difficult. I lost two front fender top decals in the process, But its finally finished.

The decals are done. Even though the side windows are not a match, I had to make do with the decals I had.

Beautiful Poncho. Love your attention to details. Especially the interior. The engine really pops.

You're welcome.

I always warm the cans in hot water. Unless I am spraying some small parts.

Thanks. No problem with the white car. Only the red. I did rub it out but left it alone by the rear window trim. Was afraid of messing it up there. Finished it up last night.

Wow. That interior and body looks fantastic. Can't wait to see more of this one.

Thanks. It came out of the Revell Thunderbolt kit. I think they all the kits have it. Not sure about the Special Edition Fairlane though.

Thank you for the positive comment, everyone.

Worked on the big Ford, along with the TBolt. I really got to get an airbrush. Kind of at the mercy of available spray cans. Painted a Duplicolor GM color . It was the closest color I could find. Too much metallic IMO. The clear laid really smooth on the sides of the car, but I had to micro mesh the roof and trunk as it had a slight orange peel. Polished it with Novus 3 step. Just a little mock up. The front will sit lower on final assembly. Maybe I'll do the foiling tomorrow.

Got some work done on the white car. Thanks to fellow member Zen for the windshield. Pretty much ready to put it together tomorrow. Would do it tonight, but my back is pain again. Two spinal injections and the medicine is wearing off. Between this car, and the Bob Ford Galaxie, has tired me out. Anyway here is a few pics of what I did today.

After spraying the Haze Gray on a spoon with and without gray primer, looks only a tad brighter than the primer itself. Going to head to the auto parts store tomorrow, and see if I can find a color that actually looks like Silver Blue.
-
Thsnk you. I can't work on the white one until I find another windshield. I had some bad luck by cracking one, and then robbing one from a kit that had a deep scratch in it. I'm probably going to have to get another kit when I see one for the right price.

Thank you..... This Tamiya color looks pretty close to the Blue Silver. If I had an air brush, getting the correct colors would be much easier.

Thanks for the info everyone. Especially the picture. I've built the Osborn Trucking car, and a couple of lightweights. Always painting them either Racing White, or Wimbledon White, and White, it be nice to do one another color. The decals will allow me to do two cars. I can also do the Jim Heather INC. Ford Galaxie.
