Lol... I tried a set and ended up stripping them, and going with Alclad. The pens are great for trim though.

Hey Bill... just finished the decals in my Bonner car. Those decals are a delight. I see what you mean about the blue “ FORD” front fender decals though. I decided not to use them either. Exactly why I didn’t add the white trim yet.

So the engine doghouse didn’t get in the way of the drivers feet. This cab was more of a dump, or cement mixer type, and not so much a semi.

How did you do the chrome on the wheels? Chrome pen.???

Beautiful interior and engine detail. The part I dislike about these kits, is the front windshield fitting poorly.

Looks fantastic. I’d be proud too. Funny you had problems with the decals. I thought these decals, out of the box, were the best I’ve ever used. I suppose we all have a trying decal day....

Yes.. A Fairlane chassis is not an option. I already got some work into this with the Starliner chassis. I use this chassis for all the Galaxies up to 65. Then they switched to coil springs, if I’m not mistaken.

That is one of the finest Bel Airs I’ve seen.

Btw... this build has been on the bench for several months. So I have patience... lol
