  1. NICE!!! Seeing it all one color really ties it together.
  2. The wheels came out great! The Bare Metal Foil really looks like chrome on the bumper. Excellent job.
  3. Scale Modeling By Chris(SMBC) also has the tire lettering decals.
  4. Nick, That's a cool picture! I've never seen that one before today. More important then the 'new'(I'm really stretching with the use of the word new here) Ghost of the General Lee kit being molded in 'white', is the fact that it's still the same kit with all the same inaccuracies. These issues are far worse then the color.
  5. I didn't know that but it does make sense for film production. However I think since most of the time the model would not be seen in the dark a glow in the dark orange would look nicer.
  6. Since most of the time it will be seen with the lights on, not glowing, it'll look all wrong in the white.
  7. Mike, What paint are you using on the body? Is it a factory color from MCW or something else?
  8. Hey Mike, I'm glad to hear the hinges are working out for you. You must be very patient. I would have glued the doors shut long ago.
  9. Bob, Do the Crager wheels come with the Baldwin Motion Camaro? What motor comes in that kit, I'm not too familiar with the Baldwin Motion '70 1/2 Camaro? What are the main differences between the Baldwin Motion and the regular '70 1/2 Camaro kits?
  10. Excellent work! This one is really coming along nicely.
  11. I wasn't sure if it was a factory color. It looks great though. Except for the the split bump, the hood scoop and the side pipes it looks just like my friend's '73. It used to have the Cragers too. It's been a while since I've seen it and I think it now has Pro Stars.
  12. Roger, I thought this was a real car when I first saw the pictures. The background and 'pavement' are real convincing. BTW, A friend has a '73 Camaro in the same color. What color/paint did you use on this build?
  13. Where can I get acetate for making windows?
  14. Tyrone, Excellent work so far! I'll be watching this build closely. Where did you get the rear suspension and the wheelie bars? Are they scratch built?
  15. Is the rear end shortened and tubbed? It's hard to tell from the side picture. BTW, your uncle's Camaro is a beautiful car. I'm partial to Camaro's.

    69 Charger 500

It came out great! The 69 GTX chassis is a big improvement over the chassis that comes with the kit.
  17. WOW, this is coming out great! You are really taking this to a whole new level.
  18. I remember years ago I had a model with glow parts and it had to be charged right next to a light for it to glow.
  19. I'm actually further along with this build. I'm trying to decide on a color. Here is a link to an article on the original Enterprise's color. The color was gray with a tint of green. Color of the Original Enterprise Chris, can you post some more pictures? I'd like to see some WIP pics.
  20. I don't really want to get one of these Ghost of the General Lee kits but would like to see what one looks like.
  21. Felix, Great job on the Enterprise-E! Are you a member on Starshipmodeler.com?
  22. Chris, Great job on the Enterprise! What color paint did you use? Peter, I'm currently building one of these myself. The area where the Nacelle pylons connect to the secondary hull will need some putty for the seams. Since it's designed to be a snap together kit this area has a few seams. Here is the area on mine. Also the stand that comes with the kit isn't that good and it can tip over easily. I inserted a styrene tube inside the secondary hull and will use a brass rod in the base. I also picked up a small round wood base from a craft store that I'll glue the kit's plastic base to. Chris I posted these pictures to show what I mentioned. I don't mean to hi-jack your thread. Mike.
  23. Wayne, I was able to locate someone who has some of these parts and I measured the diameter of the rods and will try and make some with some evergreen rods and sheet I have. I was trying to avoid making these.
  24. I need these Monogram 1/24 Pro Stock 4 link rear end parts(circled in green) cast in resin for a few builds. I also have the rear end housing and the inner wheels that will need to be cast also. I haven't been able to find this exact setup. Thanks, Mike.
  25. I see the Ghost of General Lee kit is now for sale. Does anyone have one yet? I don't think I'll ever get one but am curious to see what it looks like.
