  1. WOW, Allen your General Lee is looking great! Sorry, I just found this thread or I would have posted earlier. I have an MPC General Lee from the 80's that looks like yours. I just applied the decals on the orange plastic body. It's currently in storage so I don't have any pictures. BTW, Is Pactra a flat or gloss? I thought Pactra was just for R/C car bodies. Mike.
  2. Jay, the engine bay and fender openings look great so far! Keep up the great work. I started building one of these many years ago but unfortunately never finished it. I remember I liked that the rear window was correct(compared to the 1/25 General Lee kit). However the fenders' wheel openings looked strange and it was more of a NASCAR then street car. Both the 1/25 and 1/16 General Lees weren't correct out of box. One of these days I'll get around to building one of my Revell '69 Chargers as a General Lee.
  3. Rick, Awesome work on the P/M Vette body! Are you selling these?
  4. Excellent work so far Brett! Keep the pictures coming.
  5. Aaron, Excellent job with the weathering! It really looks like dried mud. What paint/color did you use for the 'orange' body?

    !970 Camaro

Mark, First I have to say your real '73 is beautiful!!! The paint and the stripes look great so far! I have an AMT '70 kit that I'll eventually build as a '73. It'll be a replica of a car a friend had years ago. Mike.
  7. Andy, It's coming along nicely. What paint is that on the spoon?
  8. A work or art!!! The Chassis is amazing and it fits perfectly with the body.
  9. It does look cool! A friend told me another good way to "charge" it is with a black light. Here are pictures he sent me.
  10. The rear bumper looks great so far! I have to admit I wasn't sure what to expect from this transformation when you started it, but was quickly convinced it was the right thing to do. This Pro Mod Chevelle strikes a perfect balance between old and new. Keep the pictures coming!
  11. Beautiful Camaro Tyrone!
  12. This Chevelle body is my idea of what a Pro Mod should be. It's a perfect balance of the old and new. It looks like a '69 Chevelle but at the same time has the modern styling of a Pro Mod.
  13. WOW, Where do I get one? This is incredible! Yes I usually find a favorite side of a model I like working on. Maybe it's because I'm right handed or something like that.
  14. Jeff, Watching this thread is like watching an artist at work! This one keeps getting better and better. What are your plans for the chassis? Will you be modifying it to resemble a Pro Mod?

    69 Charger

Hey Paul, Nice looking Charger! Can you post some pictures of the interior, chassis and engine?
  16. It's definitely looking like a modern Pro Mod & still looks like a '69 Chevell SS! Excellent work! What did you use for the headlight bezels?
  17. WOW, WOW & WOW!!! You are really pulling this transformation off, and it looks like is should. Great job!
  18. All the mods really fit the body well. Keeping the bumper and headlight area stock is a good idea. It looks like a modern Pro Mod but still looks like a '69 Chevelle. Keep up the great work!
  19. Jeff, Awesome work so far! You are blowing me away with the Chevelle and now this. The chassis looks perfect and the body work is looking great so far. It amazes me to see chassis' made of the copper and brass tubing. I don't think I'd even attempt such a project with these materials. I have an upcoming Reher Morrison Beretta Pro Stock project that I have to extend the nose on the body. I originally wasn't going to extend the nose but after seeing the work you are doing on the Chevelle and now the Vette you've inspired me to go for it. I'll be watching both of your builds and can't wait to see them finished.
  20. This is really taking on a life of it's own and the results are outstanding! To change the topic name, go into your first posting on page 1 and choose 'Edit'. Then choose 'Use Full Editor' and you can change the topic name. This only seems to work in the first posting that starts the thread.
  21. WOW, it really looks good! The stance is perfect.
  22. Now this is getting interesting!!!
  23. Jeff, It's great to see you back at this one! I like seeing what can be done when different bodies are swapped on to these Pro Stock chassis'.
  24. Matt, This is a great build so far! Using the front fenders from the MPC kit to build the firewall is genius! I'll be following this one till the end.
  25. Tyrone, The Chassis is looking great! I see you changed the angles of the door cutout. The doors didn't look right on the Flashpoint body and now look correct. Excellent work as always. When I do get around to building my first Pro Mod, I'll be using your pictures as reference.
