  1. These are a great Christmas gift! I know it was said already but the paint is amazing!!!
  2. Mike, The interior is incredible! The pattern on the driver's seat is exact. Where did you find it?
  3. Thanks!
  4. I have an assorted set of the Stevens International Hobby Stix a friend sent me over a year ago and they are great. The 100/100 grit stick has the most mileage and still has some areas that still work. I have a Squadron 'course' sanding stick and it isn't as course as the 100/100 stick. The Stevens sanding stix also hold up better. I'm going to order a bag of 10 of the 100/100. I should be set for years with them.
  5. Is the Mircro-Mesh polishing kit good for polishing clear plastic? http://www.micromark.com/MICRO-MESH-FINISHING-KIT,7601.html
  6. Cody, This forum's members are the best around. The members here enjoy what they do and are always willing to help. A good donor kit for the tubbed rear is the AMT 68 Roadrunner Pro Street. This kit has really large tubs and a nice 4-link and Dana 60. DenconResin.com also sells a resin version of the Roadrunner back half. Swapping out the back half will be easier then scratch building one. There is just some trimming involved. I have a Pro Street chassis from the AMT 70 Coronet that I'll be using the back half in a 68 Camaro 1/4 mile bracket car. I'm using the AMT 68 Camaro kit for this build. I'm going to order the 4-link/Dana rear from Dencon Resin. The AMT Coronet Pro Street has a slightly different back half with narrower frame rails. However there are no wheelie bars like in the Roadrunner kit. The tubs in these 2 kits are huge and these kits come with big Pro Street tires. I think they are Mickey Thompson's. I hope some of this helps. Mike. Here is a picture of the AMT 1/25 70 Coronet Pro Street tubbed chassis.
  7. What was I thinking! It's the opening doors you are having some trouble with. Still, the side door hinges do look great.
  8. Mike, The new hinges look perfect and appear to be in scale too! Great work so far. Mike.
  9. The tail lights came out perfect! This is a real nice looking build!
  10. Lee, This is a real nice clean buildup of the Polar Lights 1/1000 Enterprise. I'm currently working on one myself. Did you pick up the Polar Lights 1/1000 Refit? That's also a nice kit.
  11. Mike, The paint(nail Polish) looks perfect on the chassis. I didn't even notice the raised Revell and Copyright on the chassis. What did you thin the nail polish with? I never thought to use nail polish but I guess it's basically acrylic paint. The color really does look like GM green.
  12. WOW! Mike, this is a perfect build! That shot of the interior looks real. What did you use for the carpeting? Can you post a chassis picture? Are those the kit's emblems or are they photoetched?
  13. Joe, You did a great job on this build. I like the flat black hood and the stance in the rear.
  14. It looks great! Where do you get TEM resin parts?
  15. Frank, That's a great looking resin body. I'm glad to hear you like it and it's a good quality part. I recently ordered two '67-'69 Camaro Pro Mod bodies from Reliable Resin but they haven't arrived yet. Knowing you got a great product makes me sure mine will be as nice as the '06 Camaro you bought. That Cavalier Pro Stock chassis is a perfect match for the Camaro. What chassis will you be using when you build it up?
  16. If you still have that issue can you scan the pictures for me? Also let me know which issue it is so I can try to find it on E-bay.
  17. Kyle, I actually found that site and it has some great info. I'm hoping to find some more detailed pictures and maybe some of the interior and engine.
  18. Does anyone have any pictures of the Reher-Morrison Levi Garrett or the Super Shops Pro Stock Beretta?
  19. John, I just found this thread and I have to say WOW! What a beautiful pair of Reher-Morrison Firebirds.

    66 Nova

Nice build! I like the black primer look on the body.
  21. Wayne, Excellent work! It all looks like the real thing! Where did you get the tires? Are they from a particular kit?
  22. WOW, this is Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!!! A one of a kind for sure!
  23. Felix, Great job on this Super Bee! The color is cool!
  24. Frank, Those valve covers look great! I agree that it looks much better without the 'mail slot'!
