  1. Jay, This is an incredible build! You haven't missed any details and turned this NASCAR based kit into a nice General Lee street car. The fender wheel openings look bone stock as they should look. Absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to see the body painted. Mike.
  2. Jay, Outstanding work! I can't wait to see this one done. Will you be using the kit's decals? Mike.
  3. Here's a couple more pictures.
  4. Here's a Monogram Reher-Morrison Camaro P/S I built back in the early 80's. I just dug this one out of storage today and was surprised the decals held up as well as they did. I used enamel paint out of a spray can to paint the body and the white paint has 'yellowed' a bit over the years. I guess I wasn't so good with the glue back then. I see glue on the windows.
  5. Very well done! The interior and fender openings look great!
  6. Jay, This is a really cool build! I had one of these kits many years ago and never liked it as a General Lee since there were too many nascar parts. And the front wheel openings were just plain wrong for a stock Charger. However, seeing all your modifications is making me want one of these kits. The dash is beautiful! Can you post a picture of the kit's 'nascar' dash or rather, what's left of it. That is, if you didn't take any 'before' pictures. I'd like to see how it came in the kit. BTW, you should make a rubber casting of the dash so you can make resin castings. I'm sure there is a market for a correct 1/16 dash now that this kit's been re-issued. It's just a thought. Mike.
  7. Tyrone, Is this 68 from Flash Point?
  8. Tyrone, I didn't think this one could look any better but seeing the paint polished really makes it stand out. It's beautiful. Mike.
  9. Tom, It looks like the nose it needs to be stretched about 4 or 5mm behind the wheel openings. I re-sized the schematic but it's not a 100% match to the model. I also picked up a Revell Olds Pro Stock that I'll use with an MPC Beretta GT body for another Beretta Pro stock build. The olds chassis needs to be narrowed slightly. I happen to have a spare Monogram/Revell Pro Stock Camaro chassis so I'll use that for the Revell Beretta. The Camaro chassis will also need to be narrowed. Compresins.com sells the correct Pro Stock spoiler that says it's the Olds style. The Pro Stock olds kit also comes with that rear spoiler and a dash that looks just like a Beretta dashboard. Mike.
  10. Tom, I've been trying to finish up a couple of other projects but will get started on this one soon. The Beretta Pro Street body is about the same as the Beretta GT kit's body. I just happen to have a few of these Revell Beretta Pro Street kits. I think I'm going to use a spare Monogram/Revell Camaro Pro Stock chassis for this. I was going to modify the Beretta'a chassis but the Camaro Pro Sock chassis is more accurate and I can use the Beretta chassis elsewhere.
  11. Absolutely superb job and it shines like glass!! Well done Tyrone!
  12. Tyrone, It looks excellent in the black! Great job. Is the Tamiya black sprayed from the can or did you use an airbrush to spray it?
  13. Jeff, It's good to see you back at this.
  14. Tyrone, As expected of your builds, this one is looking great so far!
  15. Wayne, The decals you printed look great and really tie into the orange nicely! What brand/type of clear coat will you be applying over the decals?
  16. Real nice Camaro! I'd also like to see some more pictures.
  17. Darryl, After seeing the Pro Stock Firebird pictures (which are absolutely beautiful), I looked at the trailer 'scene' without reading all the posts and thought it was real. All I can say is WOW!!!!
  18. Wayne, This is beautiful! As always you do great work. Have you decided on how you are going to do the chassis yet?
  19. Tyrone, Nice attention to detail. The '66 Impala was always a favorite of mine. BTW, what paint/color is the body?
  20. Darryl, This is incredible! Nice attention to detail(s). I love the garage too. The poster of the 'hot' girl is the perfect touch.
  21. Joe, You haven't missed a beat on this one! The bat wing, plug boots in pipe organ fashion, Good Fear tires, Remove B 4 Fright... And the list goes on. Grandpa Munster would be honored to pilot this ride.
  22. Lee, as always you do beautiful builds! I love the color. BTW, what paint/color is it? Dave, This is a nice build and the stance looks great! I wouldn't call this one a hack job. Can you post a picture of the chassis? What did you use for the tubbed rear chassis?
  23. Steven, This looks great so far! I really like the color combo and the work you did on the shifter and belts. When I first saw the pictures I thought the shifter was an after market resin part.
