Jay, I have some of the Round 2 kits and the decals are much better then the ones in the older MPC kits. Which of the Nason automotive clear are you using? Most of the Nason clear seem to be urethane, but they do have a spray can of Acrylic clear. I'm sure it's either urethane or lacquer based. I'm looking for a good clear coat that will go over automotive lacquer as well as decals.

Hey Jay, I'm glad to see you are back working on this build. The General looks terrific with the decals! BTW, are those the MPC kit included decals that are applied? What brand of clear coat will you be using over the decals?

Brad, This is looking great! Back in the '80's I knew a guy who had an '86 CJ-7 that had the exact same lift. I can't wait to see this one all painted.

Landon, This looks fantastic! The body color looks like a green that came on the Dodge vans of that era.

Darryl, This is a great build! It's a more 'obtainable' race car for most people. It looks like cars I've seen at Raceway Park in NJ. The garage diorama and the front wheels turned really sells it as a real car. Mike.

Steve, It came out perfect! When I was younger a guy in the neighborhood had a stock '71 Red Charger with a black vinyl top and I always liked the look of it.

Norbert, These are amazing builds! You did an incredible job on the old MPC Pinto Pro Stock kit. You really got the front sitting nice and low.

I'm a member on BMX Museum and Hobby Talk's forums. On both of those forums each member has a rating to the left under the username area. Other members can leave a rating and comments, such as good trader, bad trader... or anything else. It's a good system that works.
