Norbert,
Thanks for posting the pictures of your Pinto. It looks great!
What paint and color did you use?
Is this made from the MPC Dyno Don Pro Stock Pinto kit or did you use a resin kit to build this?
Mike.
I say build it. From what I've seen of Rick's J-2000 in pictures this kit is as dead on as you can get.
I have one of these and I plan on building it, someday. I also have a few of the Beretta Pro Street kits but never picked up the Corvette.
That's really cool to have but you can never build it.
Chris, Excellent work so far! I'v always been a big fan of the A-Team although I admit I haven't seen the 2010 movie yet.
BTW, is that a Mork & Mindy Jeep you made into Daisy's jeep in the background of a couple of the pictures?
Mike.
Hector,
Very nice build and the paint looks great! I also like that you didn't use the roll cage that came with the kit and built the loop style roll bar that most of the General Lees had on screen.
Mike.
Jason,
I just came across this build. It's beautiful and considering it was damaged and started by the previous owner it makes it that much more special. Excellent job!
Mike.
Jon, Excellent clean build! The '68 Charger has always been one of my favorites.
BTW, what color did you use? It looks like it could be Hemi Orange?!
Mike.
I never noticed the taper on the extension. A thin piece of styrene could be added to the front of the 'extension' section. It can then be tapered back with some sanding and maybe some putty to blend it better. I now see the rear cap is the standard cap on all the vans.
Tom,
Your extended van is incredible! I never would have thought it was made from the Vantom kit. It looks like it came that way.
How did you make the side moldings?
Mike.
