  1. It looks great so far!
  2. This is an incredible build! It looks like a real Camaro!
  3. A guy I knew years ago had a Gremlin he raced at the drag strip. It had a big block Chevy and tubbed rear. I'll be watching this build. BTW, where did you get the Gremlin kit?
  4. Thanks again Matt!
  5. Matt, Thanks a bunch for posting these pictures. I remember seeing that picture with the all yellow front years ago in a magazine. Do you know if the interior tin was silver or a black color? I painted the interior on my Monogram Reher-Morrison camaro black but that was years ago.
  6. Bob, It's great to see one of these kits again. Great work so far! I built one back in the 80's but it's in storage now so I don't have any pictures. Matt, Do you have any pictures of Frank Iaconio's Camaro you can post? I recently picked up the Monogram Frank Iaconio kit.

Great job! The Roll cage came out real nice. I'm surprised this kit didn't include a roll cage since it's a Pro Street kit.
  8. Great job Mitch! Lee Shepherd was my favorite Pro Stock driver too. I built his 82 Camaro years ago but it's currently in storage now and don't have any pictures.
  9. Wayne, Any progress on your 74 Camaro?
  10. Beautiful build! Can you post some 'in-progress' pictures? I'd like to see the chassis and the roll cage.
  11. I know this is all a big joke about identity theft but it's serious and can really screw you up even if you haven't had a wallet or checkbook stolen. It's not funny when it happens. I know there's information in databases and anything can get hacked into. It's still better not to add to all that. Keep laughing.
  12. has not set their status

  13. I did say it was my mistake not reading the rules when I joined. I just said what I thought of the rule and have no problems if/when my account is cancelled here. The forum's rules say a full name should be given and I respect that. I'll try and cancel my account now.
  14. I have to admit I didn't read through all the rules when I joined. I've joined a few other forums(I build Star Trek kits, collect BMX bikes...) and all the forums seem to have the same rules. I probably wouldn't have joined if I had read this last name rule, my mistake. I did however stop posting on another forum that allowed cursing. I don't feel anyone should use foul language on a public forum. I'm not complaining, it just doesn't make sense. I have made a few friends here already and will keep in touch.
  15. My phone number is unlisted so it doesn't appear in a phone book. I had some trouble with identity theft and like to be able to choose who I give any information too. As I said above, how do we know if any of the last names posted are real. Me either.
  16. I understand what some of you are saying about this forum not having many members breaking the rules. It is a really nice place to post. However I am a member on a few different forums, (Starshipmodeler, Eagletransporter, ARC Air Forum, VintageBMX, BMXMuseum), and none of them ask for a full name. I consider those to be some of the best forums and they don't really have any 'bad' members. In fact each of those forums has members that have been around for quite a while and who post frequently. Until anyone actually has been a victim of identity theft, you won't know how that can be. I've had that happen and trust me, it's no fun. The problem with the internet is that anyone can get any info they want if they have the know how. I don't even have a Facebook account. I only join the forums, where in most cases you can remain anonymous and only reveal your information when you choose to. I understand that adding a last name is the rule here but how does anyone know if the last names here are actually the person's last names?!
  17. Great work so far! The cage looks like the real thing.
  18. WOW, this is beautiful!!! Great work Jeff! Keep the pictures coming!
  19. Real nice job on the Van! Does anyone know if the AMT and MPC 75 Ford Van are the same kit? I don't remember what year the MPC Ford van was but the body was the same. It might have been a 77 or later year. I had both many years ago and I remember the MPC Ford Van had a removable sliding door but the AMT didn't.
  20. Thanks Mark! I'm watching this on E-bay and didn't want to end up with the incorrect body. It's made in the USA, I usually like to buy the older kits that are made in the US if I can.
  21. Does anyone know if the blue Revell Monogram 69 Dodge Charger kit has the corrected body? From what I'v read it seems the corrected body appeared late in the first issue Pro Modeler kits so I guess by the time the blue 69 Charger was sold it had the corrected body. This kit I'm looking at has 1998 on the box.
  22. Revell is now selling both the 69 Charger R/T & the 68 Charger R/T kits so it seems they are using 2 body toolings.
  23. Does anyone have a picture of the incorrect body?
  24. What are the differences between the regular Revell 69 Dodge Charger R/T & The Revell PRO MODELER 69 Dodge Charger R/T kits? I also noticed there are 2 Pro Modeler 69 Charger boxes, one with a white background in the Pro Modeler logo and one with a yellow background. I read somewhere that there is a re-issue of the Pro Modeler version with a corrected body. Which Pro Modeler box is the re-issue? Any input will be appreciated.
