Steve, That's how are club started. Look for a free room to set up in. I won't be able to make that distance, but I'm very happy for ya. Every modeler needs a face to face model meeting. I'm SO THANKFUL for MCM board, as they connect modelers together worldwide. The world just seems so much smaller til you drive 4 or 5 hours for a meeting. Happy modeling my friend.

Modelhaus I believe has them too. Every order I've had from Don has arrived in 6 weeks.

Well I will have to agree with this topic. This reply is with ALL DO RESPECT going out to any and all. In a hobby that some say are nothing more than play toys for kids. It's hard to take a Hot Wheels story and feel respect for my hobby that I LOVE SO MUCH.

Yes, I use those in the kit. You can get more at Hobby Lobby. After I design them on the computer, I print the design on normal paper to check sizes and colors. So not to waste decal paper.

Great to see modelcollector and his dad at the meeting. I want to thank everyone here at MCM board. This board has helped find many of our new members. Thanks. We missed some of you and great news for those wanting the next meeting in Champaign, IL. That meeting is planned for there on Sunday Aug 21. More details later.

Have you checked your PM Thanks and there may be a chance if you decide to car-pool.

Steve & Robert, The question of meeting location will be brought up at Sundays meeting. 2 locations discussed will be Champaign and Greenville. Joe wanted this one to take place closer to him, but other issues prevented that. If he decides the Champaign can't happen for the next one, then Greenville will be worked on.

WOW !!!! That looks real !!! I'm not near that good. Starting my first late model using 2011 UMP body rule charts. I'm sure it won't be near what that looks like. GREAT JOB. After racing for 15 years and building all 6 of the cars I raced, I decided it was time to build more plastic dirt cars.

Greg, this is a great idea. Do a "then & now" story. I've heard that by the time some kits get to the shelf, the wrapped box has seen 4 different countries. Is that really true?
