  1. I can see it. They look like five bullets pointing toward the center cap.
  2. I wish they would issue more than just a dually...which I am all for. There are all kinds of trucks out there that need scale counterparts. Frontier, the last two Silverados, newer F150s, Tundra, Tacoma, Ram and a whole list of others would bring a whole new product line to explore. I like watching everything everyone else builds on here but, let's face it, even though there are multitudes of options, we keep getting the same kits over and over with nothing really brand new except some parts options.
  3. I think that might be a top from one?
  4. I am a regular. I think it means I'm like the guy that sits in the back of the church and smiles and then shakes hands when everyone else goes around but, is only there Sunday morning.

    "CAN FLY"

Well, Honda makes lawn mowers, generators, and four wheelers. Why not airplanes? Great job...that'll show em to prank with ya!
  6. Man, you sure came out of nowhere. You do excellent work! That Charger has the wheels done the same way I did mine and it looks like we both used Testors One Coat Lime Ice...only I like the two tone yours has way better.
  7. Are you talking 1:1 or scale? Unfortunately, I don't have extra parts for either right now.

  8. I hate Windex for anything but, striping chrome. If you clean with something like that, use Clearview or one of the other window cleaners that is safe for window tint.
  9. That's exactly what I do. I spray silver enamel under most colors of Testors One Coat and let it dry for a few hours. Then I spray mist coats until a majority of the silver is gone and then a couple wet coats. But patience is a virtue when doing it like this because it will wrinkle if you don't go slow. However, Justin, great job on experimenting with the Future and finding an excellent technique. I don't even like Mustangs and I think this one looks magnificent.
  10. That's a great tutorial...it looks pretty similar to one offing a 1:1 grille.
  11. Looks like someone already stole the grille out of that one.
  12. That's awesome! It looks like you just shrank your 1:1
  13. I love seeing trucks parked like this at shows...it never gets old to me. Looks like a great start on the Dakota.
  14. I'm pretty sure Dale's feelings about this car (in 1:1) would have included some expletives and a helmet being bashed into the wing repeatedly. But I think he would have given a thumbs up to this scale version.
  15. Nice rendition...I remember having this kit. The Boyds Kits in that series all had rattle can colors that corresponded but, I like this variation better. I had the 16"x7" Eagle Alloy version of those Boyd Whittier wheels on my 1:1 '87 S10 back in the 90s.
  16. I built the Fury when it first came out. I lived with my parents then. One day while cleaning the house, my mother sent the blower flying and I never saw it again.
  17. That's funny...a rock can act better than The Rock... Sad, but, true.
  18. That's awesome! Are those seats in the back? Whatever they are, they make it look like a cross between a Subaru Brat and a Cuda.
  19. I couldn't come up with anything on this but, I know a lot of logos can be found at http://www.brandsoftheworld.com Of coarse, I'd check legality first...don't wanna get into any trademark infringement or anything.
  20. I keep all of my optional engines, exhausts, wheels, hoods, etc. Also, I keep anything salvageable if I have a model that is reasonably beyond my repair. You will be amazed how fast you get tons of spare parts just by doing this. I just keep a couple extra kit boxes and fill them with all the left overs. Also, I have started keeping all my kit instructions and left over decals in zip lock bags.
  21. ...or you could send it to me...I was too stoopid to buy this kit as a kid when it was like $7.00. JK definitely put it up until you get the patience to work on it again.

    rav4 tuner

Great Job...the only custom model Rav4 I have ever seen. I dunno how easy this would be on a 1:1 though
  23. I've got one of those torn apart right now. Mine was white with no stickers...I think I lost my hood...maybe that's it...lol
  24. I think the whole thing is great. The roof rack may be over the top but, it would probably be there if it was really being used by a surf shop. I do think it looks better on the roof instead of inside. The idea of the casket with surf board slots is crazy. It really does make you think someone drives it for work and for a personal daily driver.
