well, for it being your first 2 tone paint, it looks great. hope the tape marks are an easy fix. keep up the great work, and like the others, i too dig that shifter.

if "gift" payment is made, then there is no fee taken out. instead of a donation, it should be a gift. i see this forum as a gift to the hobby and just like a real gift, a lot of folks take it for granted and whine about it. i would gladly give a buck, heck, i'd give 5 bucks. i dont use the chat, but if it helps, then it helps. i was wondering about the "forum jump" feature.

i buy a lot of my kits from ebay. its not ebay itself, it's the sellers that give others a bad experiance. i mainly buy imports and majority of them are toyota kits that have been discontinued, are a steal for their asking/bid price, the fact that its hard to find and my LHS doesnt stock them or what ever they do stock cost more that getting them on ebay. i would by them on emodels, but they dont have what i want. if there was something there, i would buy it. i got this one for 37 bucks, theres another one for "buy it now" at 100 bucks+shipping i got this one for 27 bucks shipped, usually found for 40-55+shipping and this one was a bit more, 55 shipped, but its hard to find and 1/20 scale. so makes it a bit cooler. theres another one, but i think its at about 70 or 80 bucks+shipping. these are the most recent ones. i have many that i have bought that were easily priced 40-60% cheaper. so its not all too bad if you look around a bit.

that sucks. give 1000 grit a try to start with and then work your way to a higher grit to smooth it out.

this looks great. i like the color combo. just a tip on taking pics, get a big sheet of plain white paper and use it as a back ground. use plenty of light and you'll see a world of difference.

aah crud, they use to be made in the US. now they are made in china, taiwan and some in US. shot in the dark to see what is still made in US..lols oh well for that. well best of luck on finding a US made compressor for 100 bucks. yard sales, salvation army and pawn shops are good places to look.

i dig the stance too. slammed and tucking fujimi kits are a pain when it comes to light lenses.

i hear what your saying bro, i just hope others do too and soon. this hobby is suppose to be fun and therapeutic. its not a contest or a race. i have been a member here for a little over a year and have seen a lot of bickering and fighting to say "dang, do i really want to be here??" its a great forum, great info and some great builders, but the mood, or should i say environment is not a welcoming type. yes, typing and talking do not go hand in hand, but taking the time to word it as correct as possible can prevent confusion. use the dictionary or thesaurus, the right word is in there somewhere. build on guys.
