  1. The Modelhaus offers the bench seat from the MPC '72 Impala separately. John
  2. Keith Marks does the decals for 1976 to 1978 Cobras. John
  3. On eBay last night I picked up a mint-in-box, out of production DM '57 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible. I was the only bidder at $199.99. I thought it was a fair price. Not too much above original issue price. I had one earlier but sold it in a weak moment. I think that I was the only bidder because the seller never once used the word "Eldorado" in the already verbose description. Over & over he kept calling it by the Biarritz name. All in the game I guess. John
  4. Rather than buying the chip charts themselves, I pick my colors from: Auto Color Library: http://www.tcpglobal.com/autocolorlibrary/ I order paint pretty much exclusively from Model Car World: http://www.mcwautomotivefinishes.com/ Dave at MCW has bailed me out with custom mixed colors a few times. John
  5. Kiss your $31.00 goodbye.
  6. Does he have a website regarding the ex-AAM Cord resin castings? John
  7. R&D Unique had it as a "TBA" item catalog before the company was sold. John
  8. Quite the painful thing. I hope that you're much better. John
  9. I have this Maverick Grabber kit and I echo the same praise. I especially like the little duck tail spoiler at the rear edge of the trunk lid. From eBay I picked a front under the bumper spoiler that I'll be using. A representative 302 can be found in the AMT/Ertl '67 Mustang GT kit. A correct 302 chrome air cleaner is in the AMT/Ertl '69 Cougar Eliminator kit. A bare resin air cleaner can be found on eBay by B-N-L resin. John
  10. Not sure but the same thing has happened to me when I tried to soak a Tom Coolidge resin piece in Westley's Bleech White. It quickly turned in to a sticky mess. Today, I only soak Modelhaus pieces in the Westley's. Everything else gets at least soap & water at least with Comet, Bon Ami or Dawn Power Dissolver at the most. John
  11. Rest assured that Ken's resin castings are among the best. White, clean and smooth. Just this week I received his '42 Ford conversion kit for the Revell '48 Ford. Do not soak then in any chemical however. You'll get a spoonful of goo in return. Clean and rinse lightly with soap and water. John
  12. Received in the mail two days ago the MAD '69 Cadillac Coupe DeVille (sold on eBay). Knocked down promo except for tires. Excellent quality casting and plating. I also have Kris' Mustang II body and am as likewise pleased. John
  13. For over two years? There is no excuse for his behavior. John
  14. Coincidentally I received yesterday the Speed City '67 Buick Skylark. Nice clean casting. No lean, no warp - straight as an arrow. Dense, white resin does indeed look like styrene. Also a shout-out to Alan at Whoopie Cat Decals. With two of his sheets you can get enough decals to accurize the Skylark. Great quality and service also. John
  15. Same here. "Waiting" for almost two years. My hard earned money is gone. What gall Jeff has to have in paying for that website to remain up. John
  16. All American Models did both the '60 300F coupe and the '61 300G coupe. Long gone but they do pop up on eBay once in a while. The Modelhaus did the 300G coupe but wasn't a good seller. The molds have been ground up. John
  17. Received mine this morning. Sweet piece. Impossible to tell from the original kits white styrene. John
  18. You will be very happy with Motor City Resin products. Great casting and service. John
  19. Scale Equipment LTD offers them: Mirror Set #1. Includes two outside and one interior mirror. Nice white smooth casting. John
  20. Motor City Resin sells a '67 Fury 1 wagon. Their newer castings have an incredible shiny surface. I think that they polish the molds. John
  21. Ray does unique pieces but quality can vary. If possible, you should purchase your kit at a show that he attends. This way you can actually see what your getting first. John
  22. Hi Kevin, Please keep me also in mind when the '73 Chevelles are ready! Thanks! John
  23. The Modelhaus offers a complete interior, correct wheel covers, white walls and clear glass for the '56 Belvedere four-door promo. John
  24. I was referring to this kit: I apologize if I was in error. John
