  1. The seperate box was a carryover from the '57-'60 trucks, this style of box was used for short and long wb boxes. The bed included in is kit wasn't available till '65, but alot of people switched to the better looking box.
  2. Here is a pic of a '63 F100 shortbox unibody.

  6. Looking for decals other than the Cady decals to do Parnelli's '63-'64 Mercury's. Seen some on ebay, but missed the end of the auctions. Any ideas? Thanks Brian
  7. Will be working on it this weekend. Now that the primer is on it I can start tightening and detailing the body. Want to get the engine fitted also. Body is made of polyurethane foam used for making industrial patterns. Professional version of balsa foam. Other projects are sitting till decals are sourced. Brian
  8. After all the crappy news on the radio today, decided to do some sculpting. Thinking about bringing this out as a resin kit and would like imput from you guys on what you would like to see in a kit. Also in the pics are my 1/16 GoodYear Blue Streaks, better pics of these later. Brian
  9. Hi, I cut off the quater panels and bent them with my fingers. When they were blunged out enough I bonded them back on the body.
  10. Get a white pastel stick from a craft store and rub it over the raised letters. A shot of clear flat to seal it. Clean deal!
  11. The paint is a "Butterscotch" pearl and the injector is an odd 3 hole upright hilborn.
  12. It's funny, if you cutout the engine bay in the Mongram GTX you can put the Johan body inside it.
  13. Better to use the Johan Superbird kit with the '68 Roadrunner chassis and engine bay. The old Revell Superbird is a bit bigger than 1/24 scale.
  14. Now you have to build the "Pie Wagon". Great job!
  15. Anybody know why the Modelhaus website is down? Brian
  16. Hi Andy, Decals look great. What model Epson printer do yo use? Thanks Brian
  17. Hi, after you get the shape you want with the foam, primer it with high build primer. Fill pinholes with some of the primer sprayed into a cup, use a toothpick to apply the primer to the pinholes. Brian
  18. Looks like the Revell body with a Polar Lights chassis.
  19. Hi, Got my wheels today off ebay today. They look great! Highly recommended! Might have to get some more. Thanks Brian
  20. Hi, Check and make sure that your clear resin is compatible with your silicone. Most clear resins will not cure against tin based silicone. Tin based silicone is usually blue. Platinum based silicone is used with clear resins. Platinum silicone is usually clear. If the part doesn't cure and stays sticky until you remove the first surface, this is more than likely a compatiblity problem. Brian
  21. Wow! Outstanding model! Love the boxes in the trunk. Put some pics of the engine in your shine runner.
  22. The first Charger that crashed at the Winter Nats or the second mini Charger?
  23. It is a 67, Smokey thought the 66 front end was more aerodynamic. So he modified the body to use the 66 rear bumber and taillight panel. There where 2 Smokey Chevelles, the one for sale if the last of the 2. The other one was wrecked and GM wanted the parts back from the car, because of the controversy. Smokey had the car cubed and sent to GM.
