  1. Click on this link. It shows B-trains and lists their lengths for each section. The link is the results page I got when I went to TruckPaper.com and typed in B-Train. I hope it helps. http://www.truckpaper.com/listings/list.as...BB46F320B951538
  2. A few of your trucks, including this one, were in an issue of SAE, correct? A year or so back? Anyway, nice work. All of your builds look sharp. If you don't mind my asking, did you use the Fruehauf exterior post van or the 27' Trailmobile vans to make this trailer? Again, excellent work.
  3. I love the 2 C series Fords. Nice job on the trailer, too.
  4. All of these are pretty sharp.
  5. Pretty cool. That should make for a nice restoration project. If you plan to use the light bar on the roof, you will need to get amber/yellow lenses. The red/blue light bar on the roof now is for an emergency vehicle.
  6. Truly a build to be proud of!!!!!
  7. You did a fine job on this wrecker, Tim.
  8. Sweet! I always loved the moving vans because they are so colorful.
  9. You can get Mack E6, E7 and E9 engines from here. http://sourkrautsmodeltrucks.com/?page_id=3&category=5 ...and here you'll find lots of Mack info... http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thsca...brochures/mack/
  10. You're doing a great job with the details
  11. Lookin' good Dave. Definately a build to be proud of.
  12. The recently re-released AMT Fruehauf flatbed trailer has lots of possibilities. Here are the 5 articles from Car Modeler back in 1994. There are many more directions to go from here, but this is a start. Dropdeck trailer: http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thsca...mar_1994_conve/ SO many loading possibilities with this one. Drop Center trailer: http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thsca...may_1994_conve/ Good for machinery, or you could scratchbuild a rack and make it a glass trailer. Double drop trailer: http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thsca...july_1994_conv/ Another one for machinery Extendable drop deck trailer: http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thsca...sept_1994_conv/ ...and I know a few of you are thinking of this one, 48' Spread Axle flatbed: http://public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thsca...jan_1995_conve/ Hopefully these help.
  13. So have we any progress on this one? Which engine did you choose to use?
  14. LOL. I have that long list, too. Nice work on this truck.
  15. Very cool Kurt. It's always a pleasure to drive the old iron even if only for a breif moment. Thanks for posting.
  16. Thanks 4 the Melbourne link.
  17. That sure is a good looking truck. I love the color combo.
  18. I couldn't have said it better myself. Good luck Kurt
  19. I know that feeling all too well. Nice car carrier
  20. Jim, you do have a good point about context, although I have difficulty seeing where there would be a different meaning. The word redneck wasn't what bothered me. It was the tone of the statement that was offensive.
