I will answere with a question perhaps? Instead of doing another clear over it after he wet sanded it, could he maybe polish it up some using automotive polish like the liquid kind in the bottle? Just a thought. Jody

I have a 1950 pick up, not sure wich brand or edition? Anyways, I have seen these converted to COE's does anyone know of a how to for it? I am debating wether to keep the cab stock or do a COE for a wedge? Thanks. Jody

Yes, I have a 1940 AMT Ford Sedan Delivery model. Played with it today. I see the rear fenders do not fit tight against the body. Likewise, the frame seams to not sit right at all in the rear as there seams to be no notches for the frame rails to pass through. If it sits under the body, then the frame seams to not get any wheres near the floor pan? Likewise, the floor pan seams to lack a bunch of plastic from fitting snuggly against the inner fender wells. What is up with this? Now yes, I think I may tub it for the addition of a Ford 9" with pro-street tires and steelies with baby moons. SO I can fix that problem. However, the rear of the frame will still be a issue for me as otherwise I want the bumpers on it? How is the best way to adress that issue. Next, the issue of the fenders, how is the best way to remedy that? Last, where would I desire to cut the hood if I decide to pancake it? Thanks for any help. Jody

The big T had a issue in the mid 80's I believe as a street t with some big n littles with chrome reversed rims, very nice, but hard to find. I am pretty sure they released the body molded in yellow to match the box art and other items were tan, but I am not 100% posative of this. Otherwise, I really cant help any more then that as I was only into 1/8 about a year and did not have the opportunity to buy much. I think OldHermit could help ya out there. Find him out and ask. Hes been arond for some time and have built about everything big scale. Thanks. Jody

Well, you are fortunate indeed! We recently purchased this home and we had a problem when we used the microwave, the breaker would trip, so I checked the outlet out and it was fine. its a 1969 home, so did not really understand. We moved the microwave and it happened again. This time when I turned the breaker back on, it tripped again, twice in a row, so I left the power off and pulled the outlet out. One of its hot screws were loose and the wire had touched the ground screw, arking and welding everything together. Worste part was, it was in a metal outlet box, wich it all got welded to. So I had to use a big screw driver to break it all apart and fix!! So we were lucky. That was durring the day! You were fortunate for the smoke detectors to wake you up sincethe GFI did not apparently work properly either! Jody

Looks like a parts box build to me! The fronts may be from one of the dual engine dragster kits? The body probably from one of the big T re-issues and the interior parts from the big drag. That would be my guess. Esp. since you atated he had many built ups! Jody

I do so very very little airbrushing that it usually does not effect me. When I am casting resin, I know it will kick on when the pressure is around 35lbs in the pot, so it does not bother me. However I have been making some new molds this week and 2 days ago, after putting the new mold into the pot, I busted open a book and started reading. After a couple of chapters, that SOB kicked on and I hit my head on the head of the bed! I cussed and the wife came in laughing her but off! I was not so appeased as she was! LOL. Worst part was, I was reading a Margarett Weis book and just as I read about the dragon looking into the window, it hit, so it almost brought the story to life. LOL. Jody

I had eyed one of those kits on the Bay for cheap! A metal chassis I thought would be kinda cool to toy with! Sure looks like a ton of flashing though! Like to see the final results. Jody
