  5. I moved from New England to Winston Salem, NC just this last October. The pace of living works well for me and it has its historical landmarks. Well known for industry back in the day with textiles and Tobacco (RJ Reynolds is still located here) Olde Salem is a cool place to visit as well. The downtown area is modest but there's a fair amount to do. Being located just 2 hours from Charlotte and only 30 mins from Greensboro it is convienient as these are the closest airports. Tough being 4 hours from the Beach however because i grew up with Summer in Cape Cod. As a hobbyist, I have recently found a hobby store just fifteen mins away in a town called King, NC. They have a TON of models and supplies to keep me going, they have every new kit that comes in as well. None in Winston, that I know of, other than Michaels. Also, I believe there is a model club in Kernersville NC which is very close. Anybody know about this? I would love to find out more and come to a weekly meeting to check it out
  6. i keep coming back to this, just an awesome build. Kudos.

  8. mid 90s toyota supra might help a little. The roofline/back half seems workable as well as a few other parts. As mentioned above lots of putty and frankensteining is in order!
  9. the oldsmobile grill is rad and I say go with the visor. Keep up the good work.

    78 Caddy

Nice Job. This reminds me of the pink caddy in Goodfellas. I think that one is a 79. Good luck finding the hood ornament, as those are a important detail for Cadillacs!
  16. oh ya.
  17. man thats wide. The paint looks super deep and smooth, I love it. Share with us what paint/clear/polish u used?
  18. pretty rad. The red interior with this blue is a very nice touch
  19. I love fatty whites with mags. Nice build!
  20. I would have to agree. Ive used rustoleum for the last couple builds, and while it works its just not what Id prefer. It does sand really well, wet or dry, but man when you spray it on it is THICK. A little too Gritty as well. I had to throw a can away also because it was clogged. If I cant get plastikote, duplicolor is my next choice.
  21. Nice job! Dig the color and the drags in the trunk!
  22. Swell job. The chassis looks great
  23. This Buick is gorgeous man. I keep coming back to look at it
  24. copy that, but what about suspension articulation?
  25. very cool. Question, though it may be my ignorance, Is all that camber for the wheels intentional? What would be the purpose of having a tire/wheel set up like this? I ask because I know nothing about it and have never seen tires that spherical
