  1. Model Car Garage also offers one, part number 403.
  2. Detail Master offers this one, part number DM-3222.
  3. Yes, it will be March 19th at the City Meeting Center in Anniston, AL.
  4. Great work, Lyle! Is that an MCG grille insert?
  5. That's a great looking piece!
  6. By far the nicest bike build I've seen in quite some time. Fantastic work, Kane!
  7. I second this. And if the clear coat is glossy, you may be able to use an acrylic gloss clear over the metalizer.
  8. Wow, that is really nice!
  9. Very nice!
  10. I started around age 12 and built fairly heavily for about 7-8 years until I moved away for college in '95. I haven't finished many since then, but I guess I could say I've been modeling around 23 years.
  11. That came out fantastic! Great idea and execution, Mark!
  12. I remember seeing those as well, many years ago. But I found this site after a little searching: http://www.slixx.com/cover.htm No pics, but part number OTH-SB may be what you're looking for. Give 'em a call, it may be a long shot, but you never know ...
  13. Now that's a great looking model!

    Thanks all!
  15. I would like to, but at the pace I build, I'm not sure mine would be done by May of next year.

Thank you! I struggled a bit with choosing the interior color. I wanted to maintain a stock interior color from that era, but my choices were limited. I thought black would be too "dull" for this car, and a red interior would just be too much red. Finally decided on the seldom seen "gunmetal" interior, even though I still wasn't 100% sure I'd like the outcome.

Thank you! The AMT chassis actually fit up in it pretty well with just some minor trimming and shaping of the firewall and inner fenders. However, I did have to make some suspension modifications in order to achieve the lower stance.
  19. I like it!
  20. Very nice! You did a fantastic job making the Corvette suspension look right at home.

Thank you! Yep, I vacuformed this windshield using a salvaged kit part as a buck. It actually appears to be a reasonable thickness now.

Thank you, Mark! That was definitely the look I was trying to achieve.

Thank you! Thanks, Bob! Yes, dad and I will both be there. I also thought about Pat's version - would be fantastic if he could bring it, haven't seen it in years.
