  1. Fantastic work, as usual, buddy. Lookin' forward to more!
  2. That just looks soooo right, Tyrone. Way to go, brother!
  3. Great to hear that this one will be coming back to life... I'm looking forward to updates, Clay.
  4. Everything's looking great, Chris! Your manifold color looks spot-on!
  5. Hey Mike, Sorry I didn't get a chance to comment on your build early-on. I must say that your revised chassis with the small OD tubing definitely looks more to scale. I'll definitely keep my eye on this build...
  6. Everything's looking super Chris! Did you see sanding scratches with your naked eye, or only after taking pics with your macro lens? I don't honestly think anyone would ever notice, but I know that's not good enough for you. LOL Seriously - it looks great...
  7. Oh my! Beautiful work, Dave...
  8. I'm speechless, Dave. This is just a phenomenal looking build. Can't wait for more updates.
  9. Looks fantastic Tyrone! Your decals really help to set it off...
  10. I think your fuel line/fitting work looks good, Mitch. I'm curious about something. The fitting from RBM, are those Robert's pre-anodized ones? It runs in my mind I've read where you said that. If so, how do they stand up to handling? I've tried using the red and blue magic markers on the standard finish fittings of Robert's and it comes off really easily - which is why I'm asking about these... Keep up the great work, brother!
  11. That color just about sucked the eyes out of my head, bud! That's just about glow-in-the-dark intensity - and I love it! Can't wait to see more...
  12. I am a clerical support staff member at the College of Education at the U of Iowa. I supervise 8-10 student workers at our equipment checkout counter, where we schedule and distribute portable equipment to students, faculty and staff associated with the college, provide tech support, etc. I've worked at UI since June, '85 and have been doing this type of work for all but about two years of that time. I also have run the www.futurattraction.com website where I sell model car parts.
  13. Excellent tutorial! Thank you Marcos!
  14. That's looking really sharp, Darryl. All the detail work you've added is paying off big-time!
  15. Wow! What a start, Tyrone. Looks like you're off to another great build! I'm looking forward to seeing it come together...
  16. Nice job on both of them, Junior! Congrats, bud...
  17. That is very, very nice, Terry. Tom already said what's the most important aspect of its construction...
  18. Looking good Dave. There's clearance - that's a good thing! LOL I'm looking forward to more updates...
  19. Your 'stang sure is looking good, Tyrone. Your work never ceases to amaze me.
  20. Thanks for sharing that link, Ben...!
  21. Niko, These aren't as nice of pics as Dave's but they're of a mid-to-late '70s 351 Cleveland pro stock engine. Scott
  22. Super job, Tyrone. This baby just continues to shine in everything you do.
  23. Thanks Casey. Good points all the way around...
  24. I'm curious if anybody here believes this new kit will supercede the original MPC kits for desirability. I'm just curious whether it is worth trying to track down a 1970 MPC body that could be cast in resin. Or has that ship already sailed? Any opinions?
  25. I'm sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I lost my dad two years ago, so I can empathize with what you're going through... My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
