Thanks folks,,I always enjoy your work as well. Now in defense of AMT's engineering on this,,I realize this was done back in probably early 70's or so. So its gonna be what it is from that era,,and thats ok I guess. As there were no computers to scale + cad stuff. I was thinking it would be nice to have a reference book that lists all models and when they were 1st released and by whom,, and general info about any given kit,,sortof a history book of all models. Maybe I should do that myself,,as I build any kit ,one of my 1st thoughts is " whats the history of this kit?" There may be a book already out there about all this ,,I dont know. But this turned out decent for the display shelf at any rate. Footnote/// Im just now starting the AMT GT350 Shelby 67 Mustang ,,and this kit is way better detailed and engineered than the Mach Won ,,just sayin. BTW,,The Lions beat the Commanders on sunday ,,so it was a good day for us here in the motor city,,lol Cheers SS

Happy Football day LOL ! I added up how much Football is on today,,its around 16 hrs worth or so,,wow. I can handle only about 4-6 hrs worth. Waiting on the lions game( I live in a Detroit suburb} later today,,I just finished the AMT Mach Won F/C. For starters ,,youll need alot of patience for this one,,alot of issues with this one. But I dont want to go on about it all,,all I can say is the design and engineering for this is way off on many things. But with some creative skills and the trusty dremmel,,it can be done. Anyways,,I used tamiya orange rattle can spray for body,,tamiya purple for chassis,,and hardware store paint for the Flt Black. The kit turned out great but like I said its an uphill climb to get there. So there it is,,the AMT MACH ONE!! Cheers SS

Thanks so much,,most of the graphics are decals,,I did the tire lettering by hand and the interior ,,the tires had great border molding for the lettering,,so it made it easy with magnifier and such. Had to go super slow when doing it,,thanks for lookin,,Rock on

Thanks for lookin,,I hand painted the headlights w/testors yellow,,I do that to many cars,,its has a nice contrast to the rest of the grillwork,,thanks again guys for comments.

Greetings and happy fall to all,,hey that ryhmes. So I got this AMT kit at walmart last x-mas,,finally getting round to it. I wanted something different than just the Elky by its self. So I gave it a haircut,,and made it california car. Sprayed with Tamiya blue rattlecan,,same with the underside,,with handpainted details,,added some basic wiring ect. Scatch built roll bar,,,trimmed fender openings,,Scratch built headrests,,trimmed kit supplied radiator support ,,, Now all I need to do is have Chip Foose build me one for a million $$$. We can only dream now cant we? Cheers. S

Greetings one and all. Just getting a few kits off the workbench as fall is getting closer. Heres the AMT 63 splitwindow Vette,,fun kit for the age of the tooling. I dig the mags that came in the kit,,I didnt do too much crazy on this,,simple wiring ect. Sprayed with tamiya ice blue rattle can. And ace hardware store tan rallecan on interior. A fun kit for sure. Awsome car ,,I think these 1:1 cars go for 6 digit figures at Barret Jackson these days. This is the only one I can afford ,,lol! But hey,,its still cool to have this one,,,,,Build on !

Thanks so much folks,,forgot to mention a few other things I did to this. I added header collector pcs to end of headers,,and when I mocked that up the ends of the headers were too long to clear the front fenders lower,,so I dremmel cut openings on the fenders to clear the x-tra length on the headers ,,and opened up the wheel wells a bit with the dremmel just for the heck of it. And added a radiator and hoses. Other than that its a stock kit. Thanks again for the looks,,,enjoy all the builds here! Cheers S

Greetings all,,its almost fall and lookin forward to getting some building done. Just finished this AMT 65 Chevelle AFX,,decent kit ,,added a few x-tras here and there. Different seat,,x-tra bar on rollbar,,spoiler on rear trunk deck,,some basic wiring ect. Sprayed w/ rattlecan Tamiya TS-37 Purple. And Tamiya spray blue for interior bucket. All in all it turned out pretty good for the age of the tooling. Enjoy your builds and theyll enjoy you! Peace
