  1. So far it has to be my DamDesign Soul Exporter: Yes, that's a cofin in the rear... It started as a Welly 1/24 Volkswagen Passat Variant and it went through hell: Click here.
  2. Glue the doors - exactly what I'm going to do with these two and a few other die-cast
  3. I have both of these models in my display case aaaand..... They're toys... I bought them some years ago with ideas of modifying them, but I eventually gave up the ideas... The doors open to a poor angle, the details are on a toy level, no engine...
  4. Thanx, Gary Glad I got your mind running and I hope we'll see some of your stuff in this dirrection here soon
  5. Model A, B, T or XYZ - she looks great and I love the way that rust looks
  6. I miss a few wires, but overall she looks great
  7. Great details, chrome-work, the engine bay is just wonderfull, ... A great model you can be proud of
  8. Not too much of a religious person here, but I will keep her in my mind and hope for the very best! Let us know how it went, ok? Best regards, Damir
  9. More pics: Only a few more: May she rott in peace...
  10. A customer wanted me to make this 1/18 Tonka Ferrari F40 look like an abused vehicle. Tried my best and all the time of the build/mod there was a single thing bothering me: Darn it, why couldn't they make the 1:1 from sheet metal?! Cuz an idea about a rat-rod Ferrari doesn't sound bad at all... Well, since the darn carbon-fiber doesn't rust I had to go for a badly abused weekend-racer. Someone slammed the right side into the protection wall by the racetrack so it had to be duct-taped back to shape... A short WIP can be seen on this link. A few pics: The way I got it: The way it looks now:
  11. Thanx, Randy Next update will be with some hairspray over the rusted parts and hopefully some paint-detailing over some other parts
  12. I love moded Vee-dubs and this one is no exception - she looks great!
  13. I know they are and they will be turned right in the end - this is just for mock-ups
  14. More post-ap stuff - LOVE IT!
  15. Darn it, almost 3 hours of airbrushing and not much can be seen... In short: - Grey Motip primer - Painted flat black, yelow and silver parts with sprays (Motip and Colorworks) - Painted rust with different Revell colors (brown, tan, orange). Painted parts: A quick dry-fit: The pics don't show it, but the rust effect is great TBC!
  16. Riveting is completed: Hopefully she'll get some primer next week
  17. What a beauty... Just can't stop looking at her...
  18. Thanx for the replies, guys! made007: lol, here's the story: As I was working on my Citroen C2 Gnome project one of my friends on some other forum asked me to put a slingshot in it just for fun... Didn't do it back then and he's been all over my screen due to that ever since So I decided to do him a favour and put a slingshot in this one, just for the fun and irony of it trogdor: This Hummer is for a group build on makete.net (Slovenian forum) and the build started just a bit before Dr. Cranky posted shots of his zombie molester I respect all his work and skills and having a drop of that elixir wouldn't be a bad idea at all A bit of progress: Holles for the riverts are drilled and a few rivets have already been glued to the car: Let the fun continue
  19. Birdcage? More like an ant-cage - that's how small it is... Wonderful build, mate!
  20. Not much of a progress, but I started drilling holes for some pins to come in and make it look like the metal plates have been riveted to the undercarriage:
  21. Each time I look at this I fall deeper in love... Great work so far, mate!
  22. Pre-assembled 1/18s are among us, guys. I have a Revell's Opel Commodore GS/E: The model is fully plastic and everything can be opened. Revell has some more models in that line, I think they all have the "Composite" word in their description. But I don't think they have any NASCARs...
  23. I fully-opened a Fiat 131 using a scriber. I just pulled the scriber along the pannel lines slowly, taking out a few 1/100s of a milimeter at the time. Yeah, it takes time and patience, but during one DVD you'll have 'er fully open
