  4. Or simply a home made mixture of silver and black Been there, done that, got a model to prove it
  5. I dry-brush them Mask the sorounding area, use a fiiiine brush or a toothpick, use the least amount of paint as possible, put some calm music on and just go for it
  6. Not, unless you put a huge supercharger on top of that son of a gun Go for it, dude!
  7. I've been riding BMX since my early age for about 20 or so years, but recently I haven't seen my bike in months due to a mad working schedule and a kazzillion of other hobbies (drums, models, music production, text writing, drawing, photography, concerts, ...). My weapons of choice through the years: - Rog BMX - a local Slovenian company that made some pretty kewl bikes back in the days - Powerlite Fireball 17 - Schwin - some big, vert and street oriented BMX, heavy as hell, but she could take oh-so-much beating - GT Compe - bought this baby in 2003 or so and she remains a part of my life
  8. Now, THIS brought a smile to my face About the straw: Be careful - priemrs and paints hardly get a grip of that darn thing I've had quite a few problems with paint chipping off it
  9. Respect!
  10. Oooh, she's a beauty Great job on the flames. Decal or airbrushed?

  13. Not too much of a bling fan, but that Caddie is saaaaweeeeeeeet! Too bad the emblems aren't paintet But it's a great looking model anyway
  14. Like that idea with the F1 engine in that old beast Lookin' great, m8!
  15. Man, what a gorgeous couple Congrats on the GREAT work!
  16. Thanx for the comments, guys! I tried my best not to over-rust the poor thing. I've never scratched the paint off the hair-spray this carefully before in my life... All the weathering was done only with pigments (Mig and CMK) and a pointy brush. Once you get to know the technique, the results come up by themselves
  17. Japan power: Hit me…
  18. 20 hours of work was needed to transform this pile of garbage I got from a modeller-friend in a poooooor state: ... into this:
  19. What a sweet couple! Luvlee lil' rats
  20. Ooooh, the good old salt technique that I yet have to try Love the final result. THANK YOU for the info, Virgil! Cheers!
  21. Great shots of the real car...........
  22. Wow... This is wild and I simply can't get enough of looking at it Congrats!
  23. - Mask with Tamiya paint - Paint with Tamiya flat black in several thin layers. I keep the paint thick and pressure up to about 3 bar. Why? Because it keeps the paint from runing under the masking tape if it isn't taped perfectly
  24. A great shine and a lovely job on the chromed parts Alclad? BMF? Box-stock chrome?
